  • Bring it back! the best thing to come out of tpm!

  • I add my voice to the others. I hope you will be making these compilations again. They were informative and entertaining.

  • Please bring this series back! I loved watching this every day. A good dose of humor every time.

  • I don't think this is supposed to be a completely serious news show. They pretty much just cobble together the nonsense that is 24 cable news (with the exception of the Sunday roundup).

What happened to it!? I want more!

  • (10 second version - why waste time watching video)

    Sen Kennedy had memorial services

    It rained in New York

Big butts may help later in life

An old man in Pennsylvania retired

  • i agree.. maybe they discontinued these videos cuz its easy to review the bull crap they call news.

  • Yeah, I second that. Where is the 100 seconds. All the other stuff you're posting is boring.

  • HEY. what are we not doing 100 seconds anymore? wheres yesterdays and todays??

  • reminded me of clockwork

  • very nice ending. very touching.

  • Starving children and Adults around the world... why isn't there a McDonalds ad in the middle of this 100 Seconds....?

    No, I'm not smiling....

  • I like the concept,good job.

  • lol... rubbish news

  • Go for the public option. It is the only way.

  • I kept saying "FALL FALL FALL" lol

  • God, the news was surreal yesterday.

  • the day before too

  • This is news. No wonder Americans are so stupid.

  • Mike50...Big bottoms...big bottoms, talkin mud flaps...my baby's got'em...how could I leave that behind !

  • Nice bun -urrm, i mean PUN at the end. lol

  • Teddy was a God

  • great Di100sec! the best ive seen.

  • Know what would be fitting for Teddy's send off? The hearse driver...drunk as a skunk, mind you... taking him to his final resting place...it hits a bump, his casket falls out and plunges into a pond...it is then left there for several hours while the hearse driver sleeps it off! ^_^

  • Ha ha! Thats great! Thanks for the chuckle

  • So basically, fat pieces of shit, some jackass dancing in a puddle, and the only real news is happening at Ted's funeral and in the rest of the world (which corporate media doesn't give a shit about). Wonderful...

  • smith is the voice of reason on fox.

  • It seemed like a nothing news day. This video confirms that.

  • turn off your tv's...you will be much better off, folks.

  • Things are getting worse by the day and some of you guys are too blind to see it. It's not right that Barack Obama is on Vacation.. joking around while people are crying.

Unemployment is getting closer and closer to the Great Depression level. It currently stands at 17.4%...

I just wanted to let Obama supporters and Non-supporters know that.. Barack Obama has spent TWO TRiLLiON Dollars within 7 months of his presidency. (7 months)

    Think about that.

  • What bizarre world do you live in? Unemployment is nowhere near 17.4%

  • When unemployment numbers are figured the way they were during the depression it puts the real number above 16% Its the numbers investors use to place their bets, the other numbers are to lull you into a dreamy sleep while they spend more of your childrens money.

  • Well, no, not really.

You can get the number above 16%, but only if you include people who are currently employed, but are working fewer hours than they'd prefer (under-employed?)

People who are working aren't unemployed.

I was able to find the 17.4% number that

IIIJHUSSLEIII was referring to: It's the current unemployment rate for Spain.

Last time I checked, the United States is not Spain.

  • Its rediculous to argue this point when its a commonly known fact. 17.4% is wrong, but the 16% I gave you is correct, it is a widely used number right now in investment circles, I follow this stuff daily.

Its called the U6 numbers, which are still released but never reported on. Sure it includes people who are underemployed but its a valuable number when referenced to the 22% during the great depression.

  • I'm not arguing the point, I'm familiar with the 16% number and how it's calculated.

What I intended with my post was to show one of the problems with the number that other people reading these comment would otherwise be unaware of.

  • And where were you when Regan, Bush 1 & 2 where busy creating 80% of our current 14 trillion dollar deficit JHussle? Oh, sucking them off and fondling their balls, ok got it.

  • Interesting, an outake/homage to Clockwork Orange

    re: Singing in the Rain

save your flames, I already know the CO bit was an homage to Fred Astaire

  • Giant penises dancing in milk with ultraviolence to the side, mmm.

  • One of those rare days when the news people don't' fixate on one thing all day long.

  • if you are fat, lose some weight.

  • brilliant song choice, love that tune so much.

  • It was kind of a no-brainer if you ask me...

  • *shake my head* at mix news today...dude playing in water, big ass helps, and Fox News is still retarded.

  • What the heaven happened to news people today? so much randomness.

  • i guess the US has finally given up? Please stop spending, save the earth, stand up..

  • We have the biggest BUTTS in the world, and there getting bigger ! It really is one thing us Americans can be so proud of ! We love biggie sized meals, and love to try to fit into the smallest cars..I saw 2 women yesterday that were 280 each easy...Getting into a Mini Cooper the Brits would be so proud !

  • Don't know if I'd say it's something to be proud of. lol

  • "Into the Mystic" (?)

Mystic is a point south of due west from Hyannis Port; Boston is north by northwest.

  • Shep is adorable.

  • big buts -> sausage -> beer -> kids, yep. What?

  • Gee, I like how you express politcal opposition, being glad they died. That's the side that represents life? Yeah, whatever...

  • To thane17: Have you no sense of decency, sir? Did you enjoy Reagan passing away? JESUS!!!

  • domestic enemies? which ones, the libertarian tinfoil hat teabaggers, the left wing wall street / trilateral conspiracy, some religious nutjobs that aren't YOUR kind of religious nutjobs, or just minorities and poor people? who are you trying to get people to be afraid of now? isn't it enough that the media is constantly reminding us to stay at war with ourselves, and then YOU have to mindlessly perpetuate it too? it's a good thing no one is listening to you...

  • I agree thane, time to lock up all the militia members, anti-abortion bombers and gunmen, violence inciting talkshow hosts and pastors, and secessionist governors, and all other assorted right wing terrorists.

  • i had a party when Reagan died, him and Bancer are burning well

  • That is very interesting bit of spin. Senator Kennedy, according to a VERY public record, comes from a family that made it's fortune running ....lessee, the colloquial term I believe is White Lightening. It would behoove such a man to steer the populace into dependency. That is the politics he would know well. Suicide,as you suggest, is just not a profitable adventure for any partaking it's attraction. So what or which cliff, may I ask, was Ted steering the rest of us toward?

  • You don't think Ted was steering us into dependency? How else would you characterize socialist policies? The government takes care of its own, if we head off this cliff(economic collapse due to too much entitlement spending) the congressman, including kennedy would be ok, and in many ways can profit from it. I wasn't promoting suicide...not sure where you got that from..

  • Walking, running, or however one approaches the edge of a cliff generally results in very bad results. I took your usage of the phrase "off a cliff" quite literally when you meant it as unintended consequence.

  • What exactly do you see as the role of the government? Are you another person who wants the government to "stay the hell outa your way!"...?

With how things are these days, I think it's for the best for socialized programs to set up safety nets for people incase of those unforseen tragedies that can occur in life.

Everyone helping one another out > Every man for himself.

  • See thats the question we all should be asking..."what is the role of government" We are a nation of laws, our laws are found in the constitution, it grants very few rights to the federal government, leaving all the rest to the people and the state governments. Thats how it should be.

Do you have such little faith in your fellow man that if he isn't threatened by federal prison to pay taxes that he wouldn't help another in need? We can help each other without the government.

  • I have faith in greed, and that those with enough to give will choose not to.

Health-Care costs are the number 1 cause of homelessness in this country. What does that say about how much "faith in your fellow man" you should have?

If proper health-care reform were to be passed and implemented tomorrow, NO ONE would want to see it taken away, just like medicare.

  • They were trying to bring him back to life with their minds.

  • wow they had absolutely nothing to talk about

  • We're in flames here in California! Nobody cares?

  • What - the national news media care about actual news? Pshaw! They're a branch of Entertainment Tonight.

  • i know right? this proves that the media really just reports to what it feels are its own interests.

  • Nobody cares because we are on fire every year if not every month

  • burn bitches burn !!!!! hehe

  • Psh, California is always on fire, who cares. Stop living in a desert, there's your first clue.

  • that was a pretty cool TDI100S. I like it better when it is a slow news day. Because these videos are cooler. Not that the other ones aren't, you get what I mean.

  • Sure, when there's no major uber-important story to focus on, it allows TPM to be more creative with their clips.

  • Slow news day?

  • Friday's usually are.

  • Okay, the entire day during Michael Jackson's funeral, that's all they talked about. You have the funeral of one of the best people in our nation, and we can't bring ourselves to talk about that for even four hours?! I love Michael, don't get me wrong, but our priorities are beyond messed up.

  • I mean other than TK they literally had some of the most irrelevant shit I've seen. R.I.P. to TK

  • Dan Quayle?

    Slow news day indeed!

  • He probably needed the work aswell.
