When unemployment numbers are figured the way they were during the depression it puts the real number above 16% Its the numbers investors use to place their bets, the other numbers are to lull you into a dreamy sleep while they spend more of your childrens money.
You can get the number above 16%, but only if you include people who are currently employed, but are working fewer hours than they'd prefer (under-employed?)
People who are working aren't unemployed.
