i cant get passed the step to find your cd drive it says the system can not find the path specified and i know my cd/dvd drive is E: so wtf am i doing wrong?

when you 'clean' the usb using cmd, does it remove the u3 thing inside the Cruzer

coz i happen to have the same flash drive

@naim2194 nope that whole U3 Thing seems to be in the bios of the USB stick.

short of getting into the secondary flash via some convoluted method of talking to the built in microcontroler U3 is here to stay .

HAA i just relised the background i'm using now is the same as the old vista setup i had when i made this 4 drive wipes ago... funny . (i grab my backgrounds form google most of the time.)

u can use win 2 flash for installing windows from usb stic. just search in google for win 2 flash

When trying to paste the windows 7 dvd contents on my usb, it says its 4.20 gb and your only says 2.30 gb. does anyone know why?

@chondosito30 Honistly these videos arent in HD

There just 640x480 which is considered SD by most folks.

My old Z700 kodak can only do 640x480 so i scale all the video down to that so it all looks the same.

If you want to upload at HD just encode the video in an exceptible HD format EG 720 1080 exct

Example 1080 is "1920 x 1080" resolution.

Note your uploaded files will get much larger with the higher res video

And you have to make sure you stay within the youtube decoding standerds

Question - I downloaded the software ofthe internet (Legally) Can I Just drag and drop all the files on to USB and then install of that? Or Do I HAVE to reformat my USB - I need a simple answer.

Well you can eather get the USB inistaller from microsoft or follow this tutorial exaclty and be done.

see my video which works on XP as well and is just a simple Windows app. Search for RMPREPUSB on YouTube - much easier! You can use FAT32 or NTFS.

installing from a usb stick is hard work, better to go buy a external dvd rom drive, or as i said use a ghost file and take out all the hastle of constant errors.

sod that ,get a .GHO (ghost) file stick windows 7 on within 5 minutes.

i have a problem when i type LIST DISK i only get disk 0 my usb stick is connected but it does'nt show up there when i type list disk. only disk 0 nothing esle. any one how to fix that?

doesn't work on xp because diskpart doesn't recognize my memmory card of thumb drive.

you have to use the diskpart from vista or w7 32

theirs also other tutorials on how to setup the thumb drive using xp itself.

I FOLLOWED YOUR STEPS AND WHEN I TYPED IN (BOOTSECT.EXE /NT60 E:) where E is my flash disk 4GB I get the following message:

Could not map drive partition to the associated volume device objects: Access is denied

What should I do?
