Oh man...um Bleach is pretty much like another dragonball z..It's about fighting for pride and friends -_- Lot's of episodes, slow plot progression, still going in both manga and anime. Perfect if your into that sort of anime =)

The mask was pretty much that guys last resort to beat the blue haired guy (at the time). He almost beat him, but then his mask broke...so he started to loose.

But no matter what, the hero always wins in the end one way or another.
