The last time I saw one of your videos - you were lovely. Now you're downright gorgeous, so, omg dear, you look fab, and the FAQ is very helpful, so, thank you so much.
@perfection202. No drag queens don't want to look as feminine as possible. The reason queens use so much makeup and such big hair is to exaggerate the way a female looks. There's a saying in the drag world, covergirl don't cover boy. Which basically means it takes a lot of makeup to transform a mans face into a female looking face. The purpose of drag is to entertain, not to look like a real woman.
Blanche, first off, thank you for your videos so very much. They are informative and it's also fun to watch you grow and transform through them as well.
Regarding root lining a wig yourself, and wig styling, Misty Eyez (MistyinFL here on youtube) has some excellent wig styling videos and a root lining one. I do like Misty and use more than one wig and bump it up. It saves on all the teasing to get your hair all jacked up to the sky.
Don't listen to that CharlotteJamz person. It's just plain rude, even if this was everyday wear to try and look like a woman you do what YOU like and screw everyone else who wants to try and bring you down!
@CharlotteJamz Oh offence hun, but I am not trying to look like a girl. I am trying to look like a drag queen. there is a difference. This makeup is for STAGE. Not for trying to pass as a woman.
@CharlotteJamz -sigh-. Drag Makeup depends on the persons style as well as their area's lighting. If you have a bright white spotlight on you you may can do more natural makeup but if you are in a dark dark bar then you will have to paint more heavily. I like the way Blanche paints...If you want more feminine makeup then go watch Petrilude,Xsparkage or someone else.
@CharlotteJamz Drag Queens are not suppose to look like women. Drag Queens and and women are 2 completely opposite things. Drag Queens are characters and drag is and EXAGGERATION of the female form. Drag Queens do no want to look like women or pass for women. Those are called Female Impersonators, not drag queens. I believe you have the two of them mixed up.
Why does everyone keep saying that they can't find pan stick. It's everywhere in Las Vegas. You can buy it buy the case nearly everywhere and every major online make-up retailer has it.
Thanks Blanche for the advise on the krylon paint stick. I just ordered some Pan stick, but it is rather expensive for .5 OZ. Its like 15.00 a stick on e-bay now , unless you buy 10, than it is 10 Bucks a stick (did not want to dump a 100 on it). So I will look for this Krylon. Now I got some ben Nye stuff off the bay pretty cheap, but only one dealer is selling the 8 Oz translucent, the store is a Power seller and ships FAST. Thanks for the Vid Sis :)
Misty Eyes has a tutorial that shows how to do a rootline wig and how to style n all that:-) her name is like mistyeyesfl or something-I don't remember
Blanche!!! Surely you've tried MAC's Black Black pigment? It can't possibly be any more black, and one jar lasts even longer than most pigments because you CAN'T use much. If you're not careful your whole face ends up black.
I'm lucky that my inner diva is a hot mess. I can just buy discounted Halloween wigs online and tease the heck out of them (You're too sweet for me to curse in your comments.)
@A7Xspazz You don't need schooling. MAC Pro is a paid for membership. You just have to show professional credentials. I used a playbill listing me as makeup artist. A business card listing me as makeup artist, and something else...I cant recall.
Watching ur mug evolve has been pure bliss for me over the past year or so. You are serving a serious beat these days, and I LOVE it. Inspiring as usual, thnx 4 the upload !!!
Thanks for sharing. Have you order any products from {[frendsbeautysupplydotcom]}? if not check out that site. This site sales a wide range of high quality products, make up and all the necessary tools.
@BlancheBabcock Do you re-powder with loose or pressed, or does it depend? I really only like pressed powders for blush/highlight, but I always set my makeup with loose powder. I hardly ever apply more powder though, I stick with blotting sheets.
@BlancheBabcock im sooo soryy!! Im a huge fan and i read it wrong and i was really wondering why you had named it that!!! sorry !! hope you idnt take it too personal!!

Hold up, don't drag queens wanna look as feminine as possible? If so, why all the make up? Go light with a more realistic wig.

@BlancheBabcock Yea so then what are drag queens suppose to look like? Women. It's almost disrespectful. Just saying.
