she does have a lovely voice and stage presence. i shared the stage with her (as a lowly super) in the cincinnati "otello" - a rather pedestrian production but she was quite good. i did catch this production on DVD - its extremely compelling as directed by stephen langridge and with popslaskaya as the desdemona.

She will sing this role in July 2010 at the Cincinnati, Ohio opera house where
she will make a U.S.A. debut. Very pretty voice and I wish her much success.
