What's amazing is how dark their stuff sounds for that age. It's not really poppy as much as it is Dark, especially the vox arrangement! I discovered them while my 2 boys were watching Yo Gabba Gabba, they always have cool indie acts on there, probably because of DJ Lance. Anyway, Awesome Tunes!!!

I haven't listened to Smoosh in forever. I almost forgot how unique their style is. It's nice. I also remember that back in 2005, they weren't exactly the best singers, either haha but they've gotten so much better. Go Smoosh :3

Also, they stay composed real well, even though the audience sucked. University kids... there is a video of Chloe jamming with "Pedro" from Napoleon Dynamite at this show which is pretty cool, and although she looks real embarassed she plays great for makin it up on the spot.

It's easy for people to pass negative judgement if they only see videos from 3+ years ago. They really weren't that good yet at this point IMO, but still clever enough to have a lot of original songs. That's more than a lot of good bands were doing at that age. They improved a LOT though in a very short period of time from when this show was performed. xLightningxBolt should watch some more recent videos from the last year and a half or so.
