You're comparing a continent to a country. I understand back in the day when a lot more golf, especially higher level golf, was being played in the US why they would pit the US vs. Europe, but with the high level of golf being played around the entire world really, it's not a fair comparison. Also, Luke Donald is as American as a cheeseburg, just hasn't losing his accent. He's been in the US for 10+ yrs...would call him European.

@wilchido94 True but also the depth of the European tour is greater and growing still. Also, I was referring to the courses too - greater variety which makes for nicer viewing and results in the players developing more of an all-round game. When many come to America, they often struggle on the quick greens as they are slower in europe.
