Our nation was built on the hope of a better, freer life for the generations to come. The group of "founding fathers" was comprised of quite a variety of opinionated men, and they were some Christians, some pagans, some socialists, and some others as well.
Our veterans fought for our freedom, including the freedom to worship and believe as we choose to. They are not fighting for a specific god or religious stance.

That is not what "Do what thou wilt" means. It means that one is to discover and accomplish ones true will, ones purpose for existing, which is God's Will, the universal will, the expression of existence. Secondly, Ishtar, was not only the OLD Sumerian goddess of war, but of love and passion. She was primarily a diety of good, not of demonic origin. this video is on the right track but failed to mention the massive Scottish Rite Cathedral right across the street, the Federal building next door or the American Legion right behind it, Indianapolis is only second to Washington DC for monuments in the whole country

The Father of Christianity warned against worshipping other gods and having these pagan solar deities (Never look to the sky to worship the sun, moon, or stars) such as baal and ishtar because of the death and destruction they bring to the planet and mankind. How could He be these pagan gods himself if he clearly warns against them so frequently throughout the Word???? thanx for the post

Well in all honesty yes Christianity took alot from the old religions ( Celtic pagan beliefs).

true christianity took nothing from the celtics, just this 21st century christian melting pot which started compromising their faith in order to gain more numbers. looks like it back fired. sure the church got their numbers and of course more money, but the end result of this disobedience is evident in our present society.
