It would be early 70's, but I bet I do. I remember as a kid going to Puyallup, both my Mom & Dad raced there. As a kid... I rated many of the raceways by the snack bars..lol..thank god that changed. I will post more film in the coming months. Thank you for asking.
great video but what on earth compelled you to use this music!? just cuz the cars are rolling doesnt mean you have to choose a song about it, and there is no river....
My Dad is in this video, ( Harold Davis ), and it was his favorite song..,and besides... the song just went with the era. Thanks for the nice remarks.
is that a Rambler/AMC Marlin those guys are pushing at 1:20? Could also a Torino. Either way love those wheels always liked them more than the chrome ss ones
It's a '64 or '65 Chevy II Nova with a custom roof. Can't remember who it belonged to but seems to have raced out of the midwest, maybe Chicago. F/X class

It should be the Al Green Chevrolet '65 Nova AG drag car. Not sure of the engine size. The roof was indeed custom. Car was an altered wheelbase car.

Drag Racing has come a long way since the 60's, but will never erase the start of it. The true start of the "DRAGS" in all it's glory!
