@Jeffredo729 .... "To this day a friend and I will say "parts is parts" to describe anything mashed together. Funny how stuff sticks in your brain." LOL!!! OMG , same here !!! I say it at work sometimes, but, most of those damn idiot young punks I work with have no idea what I'm talking about LOL
reality tv is causing people to lose their imagination! See in the 80's we knew things were imagination and we didn't need EVERY BLESSED THING to be REAL! ;)
Processed Chicken!! That guy in 0:24 IS Stupid. I think the director wants to make them pretend their Careless. But if they were in the real world, I would throw that chicken at him and say,"Go To WENDY'S And See How Popular It Is You Dumb Idiot!!".Even though that I wasn't born in the 80's though, it still could be a good thing to go back in time to the 1980's and see how they were priced and tasted like.
@SuperFlashDriver- LOL..... All that chicken WAS processed (and still is for the most part). Pretty much all food you buy- even food at the grocery store- has been processed to one degree another, and no food is processed more than the food served at restaurants. Even the apples and oranges sold in the produce section at your favorite store have been processed by adding coloring and surface waxes to improve appearance. And, it is 'they're', not 'their', in your comment.
@CincinnatiGifts Right now, I don't really care much about the process anymore. This is just a CM and it's good that people wouldn't do this nowadays. :D
@CincinnatiGifts True, EXCEPT USDA certified Organic foods. Don't believe me? Read the laws regarding what can be labelled USDA organic by definition most foods have to be either minimally processed or not processed at all. And in this case minimally processed means butchering an animal and removing the blood not coloring an apple and adding wax. Organic is the way to go. Man has been doing it since the beginning of time.
One of the reasons I stopped eating out wasn't because of health (even though that should have been the reason) but because every place continues to increase their prices, and they're not giving you anymore than what they had before. What you see here is exactly the same food you get now. And now it's even LESS. You don't get Supersized and Big Macs arent big anymore. You're getting charged more for less during a recession. Burger King is horrible about their pricing, Wendy's too.
@mac12197 Nope, this was an actual TV ad for Wendy's back in the magical day of the 80's, when everyone had money and a job, LOL I was around 20 when this ad ran on TV (1984 or '5) and I believe that the "Where's The Beef" commercial was either slightly before or after this one. They were great times though and some truly funny TV ads came from that day.
@Shawnster65 Where's The Beef? was actually born out of one of these commercials. The guys said it, then the old lady came in. Nice segue with commercials. :-)
