  • lol even in canada we can have 25 round mags, even those 50 round mags (if its a 22 that is) my heart goes out to you poor fellows in california

  • @millionjakeus Thank you Jake. And yes the LOL in the begging of your comment is fully justified. I do live in the SSC. Socialist State of California and I am mystified about the 10 round thing. The police run around with 30 round mags in thier ARs but cant shoot for crap. But I can't have a 15 or 30 round mag? Do you know the average hit to shot ratio police have!? It's friggen bad! Depending on the situation and the state it is as low as 10% or as high as 100% Few shots got higher % rates.

  • What if the 'zombies' get close? What will u do then? Id equip it with a bayonette.

  • @SGUSGaming If the bad people get that so close a verticle butt stroke to the head will solve most problems as well as remove most teeth. I also always carry a hand gun and a knife for personal work.

  • @shoktroop Verticle butt stroke? Well What hand gun?

  • @SGUSGaming Ya dont know what a verticle butt stroke is?! Man.. Well it is using the butt end of your rifle as a blunt force weapon and while in the pugile stick stance you step forward and swing your rifle butt up the the jaw or skull of your enemy. Google it. And if you dont have a side arm or hand gun your screwed. I carry a 1911 .45 ACP on my hip loaded with 230 grn Hydra-Shoks. That will cure most bad guys problems if the butt stroke does not.

  • @shoktroop Yep, I didnt know but thx for telling, Im not very good at english. How many bullets does ur 1911 have normally in mag? But id prefer a bayonette, cud easily penetrate a cranium, and u use like ur weight when stabbing with it, and if ur in tight areas [Id never be in a thight area if zombies were around lol!] u cud stab them rright onto em instead of swinging or ye, ya know.

  • Sweet gun! Have you thought about getting an Alangator Trimag? It gives you 30 rounds on the gun using factory mags. I too am from a socialist state (MA) and they are ten rd compliant

  • @jmatteos24 I have tried the tri mag and I really didnt like it that much. It works fine but it will not fit in my mag holders.

  • Ive already got my bushnell all i need is the magpul sights, the goose-neck, and the tapco. is that the standard barrel on there? im seriously interested in this build. if i were to do a build a setup just like this should i use a green mountain bull barrel?

  • @FMJHollowPoint *to build

  • @FMJHollowPoint I would not use a bull barrel unless your planning on long range shooting. This set up is a very fast handling rifle. I use it for fast engagements of rabbits and squirrels. That’s where the laser comes in. Rabbits can outrun your optic so to speak. The quick zig zag of a rabbit can be a tricky shooting situation. The laser allows me to keep a heads up/above the optic view and aids in tracking/shot placement

  • Do you have any vids of you shooting and using that laser?

  • @FMJHollowPoint Not yet. I use the laser at night most of the time on rabbits. You can use it during the day as an extra aiming device but its main use is for to eliminate those little furry bastards at night and early morning just as it get light. The red dots lowest setting is still too bright even on the smallest dot at those times.

  • @shoktroop It would be awesome if we could see that laser in action. All i want to see really is the accuracy test though. maybe another video with the phantom at 100-150 yards with the barska active.

  • @FMJHollowPoint Sorry for not replying to some of the comments. My inbox doesnt always notify me of new comments so I miss some. :/ I will make a video of me using the laser at dusk on rabbbits or just showing an accuracy demo. I will do it as soon as it stops raining.

  • hey man i just put one of those trophy scopes on my .22 whats the point of the screw on scope extension? and should i use it or not?

  • @FMJHollowPoint It is a sun shade. I use them due to the fact I shoot looking into the sun towards rabbits and vermin. They don't dimminish your field of view very much if any at all. Sun glare on a red dot shooting toward the sun can be a bitch. I just leave mine on most of the time. It also helps keep rain off the glass. Yes the scope is water prof. Trust me. I got caught in a down pour and freaked out thought red dot was done then I remembered they are water resistant/prof.

  • Hi, are you using 2 of the Ruger 10 round rotary mags taped together or something? Just wondering because I thought about block sanding 2 of them and sticking them together end to end with 2 part epoxy. Any insight or information is greatly appreciated.

  • @SystematicMechanic Look at my video lineup and find the Mag coupler video. It is actually a plastic connector sold at Brownells. The video will give you instructions on how to to it and the part number for the connector.

  • @DJVBasil They do a 50 and I think 110,180 the last two are what I heard and saw pictures of so for sure A 50 one

  • Your videos are great! If you want info about a ruger 10/22/ demo watch his videos!

  • 1:03 lmao so true...

  • THEY NEED TO MAKE A DRUM FOR THESE THINGS.

  • @DJVBasil They make drums for the 10/22 but I live in the Socialist State of California and we are banned from having anything over 10 round mags. Unless they are preban. I have a few very old butler creek 25 round mags but they jam alot due to age so I really dont use them.

  • Nice!

    What's the total weight?

  • @glockboy22 She weighs an even 8 pounds. That includes two full loaded 10 round mags connected together.

  • What's a "bush" gun?

  • @DrTadHusseinWinslow A bush gun in my opinion is a weapon that is adapted for very close engagements and rapid snap shooting. Snap shooting is when you "snap" the rifle up to your shoulder and fire a quick well questimated shot at your intended target. As in a rabbit that breaks cover and makes a b line for cover you snap the rifle up and make a well aimed/guestimated shot.

  • whats the cost off the whole setup, gun+accessories?

  • @rlgoat 1022 with Taxes DOJ fees $250, Bushnell Red dot $87, Tapco stock & foregrip $105, MagPul BUIS $85, 2 hellfighter light/red dot holders $40, Steamlight PolyTac light $40 and Barska laser with holder $100 comes to about $700 bucks. Remember all of the accesories can be placed onto any weapon system have. It would cost about 700 bucks to build it from scratch. I had most of these parts already just sitting around from other guns.

  • Sorry, beauty... Well done!

  • Well Shock, your weapons are always 100% functional while reatined an elegant beautiry.

  • Ooh rah 1st mar div. Semper Fi. Been a while on a new vid awsome 22

  • You are an artist... Thank you for sharing your latest work.

  • @kalel01a Thank you Kale! WOW an artist.. I kinda like that title. My rifles are very uncommon and I like that. Noting worse than having the same gun everybody else has. This is AMERICA. Be unique.

  • I love this one.

  • Is this a Ruger 10/22 with some kits on it?

  • @enticed2zeitgeist Yes it is a Ruger 1022 that is modifed with some bolt on stuff. Tapco stock and optics/laser..

  • I like! Simple is hard to beat. What distance will this rifle function to? Is this more for tree rats and other similar sized vermin since you have a lazer? Can't beat the Tapco stock either. Was it hard remove the front sights? Thanks again SHOKTROOP. ;)

  • @nobull60 It is accurate at 225 yards. I can hit an 8 inch gong with it over and over no problem. The sights were not that hard to remove. I just used a hammer and a punch and punched them out. See my video lineup on how to do a barrel sight removal and fill in. Yes this used for squirels and rabbits. But it can be used for larger animals. ;0)

  • I don't do tacticool, but it looks great I gotta admit.

You inspired me & I traded around & got a Remington 582 & $80 for my Mosin Naggant rifle. Good trade, the Remington was worth about double the Naggant but it was dirty and ugly, but it cleans up nice as I need & the barrel is sweet, which is what I care about. They are supposed to be tack drivers. Time will tell. Some grease off some spare ribs & the rust doesn't matter lol & a little barrel cleaning & it's nice. Real natural feel to it.

  • Meant to ask earlier what barrel is the Phantom wearing?? Love the annotation for tacticool cat btw

  • @LoCoZoMbiEKiLleR It is the stock ruger barrel. I removed the front and rear sights a nd filled the holes in. I have a video on how to do it in my lineup. Ya tacticool cat was YOUR idea! Thanks..I laughed when I read that.

  • Nice setup. I have the same stock (different color) for my 10/22, how did you mount the rail in the left front? Thanks for sharing, take care.

  • @Rogerthat5x5 I used some extra Tapco plastic screws I.E short wood screws. I used 3 of them to mount the rail. I measured it made sure it was level with the bore. To hold the screws in I used a screw catch plate.

  • Cool Clean

  • Nice looking

  • How do the Magpul BUIS handle with that setup? I'm thinking buying a set but I'm concerned with the rear and front sight not aligned correctly.

  • @afktechnical They align perfectly. Great system and very low cost!

  • @shoktroop HELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOO PHANTOM nice 10/22 again bro thats the tapco stock i have 4 both of my 10/22's as well. great to hear from you its been awhile hope all is well take care till next time

  • @redmule02 Good to be back with a new video and 10/22. Thank you Red for all your support! I hope ya like the Phantom. I tried to creat a rifle with all the modern tools you see on military weapons. That laser is actually pretty fun to hunt with. Snap shooting with a laser is kinda a new trick for me. Takes a bit of practice but I'm doing pretty well at it.

  • @shoktroop i really like the set up.yeah shooting with a laser can be a little challenging but like you said practice is the key let us no how the setup holds up cant wait to hear

  • Just wondering, How much range did yohr stock 10/22 have? I know your custom ones can hit yohr 225 uard target but I always wondered how far the stock 10/22 could hit?

  • @FluffyBoy32 Well she will hit a man size target out to 400 yards but to hit a small target say a rabbit or a zombie head I would put that range at about 150 yards. Give or take depending on the optic you put on. My good friend Charlie can drill squirels at 125 yards no problem.

  • @shoktroop Ok, Thanks! I'm looking at getting a Marlin 795 which is supposed to have far better accuracy than the 10/22 out of the box so hopefully it'll be a good long range shooter!

  • Tacticool cat creeps through at 2:17

  • Bitchin love the new build can't wait for the next vid...speak up marine I can barely here you! Lol thanks for keeping the ruger alive Kenny!

  • How's it handle in the bush?

  • @Hellfireblogs So far pretty friggen well. Several rabbits and squirels have gone to see their maker. :)

  • @shoktroop Very cool. The 10/22 is probably going to be my next purchase.

  • I love it...
