  • Wicked Bassline, Rolling Breaks.

  • i miss the dark and dingy music like this...raw and simple yet so intricate.

  • Oh Photek why do you no longer make music like this? Stop being so damn fashionable and go back to your roots.

  • This was a listener request on Fabio and Grooveriders Radio1 Old School Drum and Bass show, 7/25/11. Definitely a big tune which I probably would have never had the chance to hear.

  • bad ass!!

  • Very good song with nice beat

  • Photek beastin the track - f-ck this is nice!

  • the 4 people who disliked this track obviously dont know fuck all about drum and bass! Photek's music is in a league of its own, he was making intelligent music like this in the early 90's, and it still sounds so FRESH to this day, his music is science and has stood the test of time, i mean come on the guy was sampling sounds of distortion and turning them in to rhythm's he was well ahead of his time d♥b

  • the sound of back holes colliding

  • sounds little bit like ORBITAL ,

  • @TheTalRasha1 no it doesn't, Photek is Photek, there are no comparisons.

  • Vocals in the beginning sound a bit like Squarepusher' s Come On My Selector.

  • big tingz

  • How does a needle read the sound ov a spinning record? and can anything - like a laser etc 'read' saturns rings or is that just real madness?

  • @OldsKoOlRaaaver Thats is genius...

  • 2:50 ...my god. From then on my soul erupts into a Zanmato blade.

  • Sophisticated jungle. The complexity of simplicity is beautiful!

  • does anyone know where that classic jungle sample comes from that appears at 1:13 it is repeated over and over? It sounds like a vocal sample sped up or somthing.... anyone?

  • @zeromacon its probably made by photek himself, it is also part of a soundbank in propellerheads reason, photek have created many samples in it for propellerheads.

  • @contaire01 its ok, i found it

  • @zeromacon It's actually a part of the original drum break that Photek has sampled; from the Lyn Collins song 'Think (about it)'. That break is at 1 minute 37 seconds - it's on youtube if you want to listen to it.

  • Water Margin is the name of a Chinese epic. The Suikoden games are based on it, as is the really really old NES game Bandit Kings of Ancient China. Not sure if this song is inspired by old Chinese folklore, but it's got soul.
