Cuando era niño escuche esta melodía, sin conocer el nombre del grupo, aunque si conocía el nombre de la canción, ...nunca he vivido en España, , pero hasta ahora conozco el nombre del grupo, excelente pieza musical...
@STARG88 That's nothing new. There's no haters like Hanson haters, because they really really really really don't want to be wrong about them. Alas, I have to set 'em straight one by one. I can't tell you how many times I play their music, they go "Who sings this?" I tell them and they sh*t themselves. Veer off the MMMbop path and you'll find they're secretly one of the greates bands on this sorry planet.
i have been trying to get this song and change in my life acapella for at least a year does anyone no what album(s) or where i can download it to burn to cd???????????????
right? i remember when his voice when he was young, and now it's this raw, rockish bluesy, amazing, heavenly noise that happens whenever he opens his mouth. :D
GEEKY EXPERIMENT!!! Play Hanson's album The Walk while watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children on mute. Have the first track qued and unpause it right as the 1st Japanese credits come up. Let the entire album play as is, even the African chants between tracks, It's amazing! Try it and let me know how it works out. :)
FYI.... Hanson is from Oklahoma.... Tulsa, OK..... Isaac and Taylor were born there, Zac was born in Arlington, VA... their father traveled a lot for his job when they were little.... so this song is very fitting.... lol... i love it! (i live in VA, so i like the fact Zac and I were born in the same state... teehee)
Yes, very fitting. In fact, Kings of Leon had the same situation. A couple of 'em were born in OK, but their family traveled a lot. Same wit me. I was born in OK (though I don't remember, ha ha), but traveled a lot because of my father's job. The songwriter (Hoyt Axton) is from my hometown (Duncan), so i love it for that reason too. BTW, Mmm Bop is one of the greatest pop songs ever!!!! Oh, and I'm 50....
Hanson as a group are so underestimated. People right them off just because they sang MMMBop as kids, but heck its STILL a good song. And they've only gotten better over the years.
Yea, someone once said that rock music today lacks great guitar solos..I'd never noticed before..but it SO does. LoL. These youngsters are making it big after learning four or five power chords. I guess I can't hate, if someone wanted to pay me for my mediocre skills on my guitar..LoL I'd take the money!
when my friends called them "bubble gum" I said, "they're young, but they are really good -- and that's their own material. You'll be hearing from them again."
And I was right. They cover great music and do great original stuff.
FOrgot to mention: Have thie 1st rack qued and unpause it when the first japanese credits show up. Let the entire album play as it is, including the intro and the transitions between tracks, or it will throw off the whole movie.
DO THIS RIGHT AWAY!!!! Play Hanson's album the Walk while watching Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children on mute. It's better than OZ and Floyd. YOu won't belive what happens.
Hanson's great. I'd love to see them having a chance to compete with some of the old greats, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Jackson 5... I mean, if Hanson were of those eras.. or visa versa...how would it be? I know one thing, Jonas Brothers are cute sure, but they can't hang w/ the greats. Not yet anyway. Maybe in the future. But they've got nothing on Hanson or any of the old groups.
@meritalong They'll probably be recognised after they'll fall apart... or die. That's how it happened with most of "the old greats". That's how people are: appreciating something when it's gone. Anyway, Hanson are GREAT!
@7mjitq i couldn't imagine how i'll be living y life without hanson. though i always will have their cd's and dvd's to listen to over and over again, ireally can't stand the idea of them being dead =(
Although, I'm not sure Zac compares to Ringo. Zac doesn't ever get to complicated, he's just solid in pocket drummer. That's good, but Ringo had some complicated licks.
Hanson was before my time. But reviewing some of their videos - they are darn good. And to compare them to the Jonas Brothers is a joke - they are ten times better.
OMG!!! Just saw them in OKC...every time I see them the show is even better!!! This is the most amazing cover! So much talent!!! I can't even really explain it.
Where was this concert, were they in Israel? because it says "bat" & "bar", which is hebrew for female & male, & dont they have to be on different sides of the room. Please tell me where this was, I want to know. thanks!
oh, do you notice over the stage, it says Bar & Bat, what is it there for? Are they doing Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, ha ha, didn't think so. but what does it mean?
I've never been to Heaven, but i've been to Oklahoma..

ISAAC HANSON - He plays guitar like Mick Taylor, completely effortless and melodic.
walliegirl2 3 years ago
it's kinda hard to beat an original, but i like this version better than the three dog night version.
tacomuybueno 3 years ago
Isaac's guitar playing is so much like Mick Taylor who was the Rolling Stones best guitarist.
walliegirl2 3 years ago
Their voices all sound different, which is really cool. On the other hand, the Jonas Brothers all sound the same with a whiny pitch.
Isaac's voice is my favorite.

Austin is known for its bats (nocturnal bird like creatures, yknow, under the bridge), hence Bat Bar.
