@fearous10000 may be they sense you're afraid of them? i also know this: you must NEVER stare a dog (or any other animal) directly in the eyes for longer than 3 seconds, i think. the animal's brain is HARD wired to attack, so a dog or other animal will take your stare as a challenge to fight. and guess who will lose. if neither of these are the reasons, i can't say why you have unpleasant experiences with these animals.
