OK, so I've never really cared for japanamanga but Ive only seen a few series along time ago. Like say "mysterious cities of gold" lmao yea that long ago. My dislike stems mainly from all the old rpg's mostly all being in that style with no effort to be realistic. Ive seen every decent American cartoon at this point & am finally ready to give anime a shot, the mature content and story lines look intriguing. I just obtained the complete Hellsing & Death Note series due to this vid, so here I go=)

witchblade was good but the ending was so sudden it really let it down for me, and hellsing ultimate is far more hardcore than the original even if it seem to take them like a year to make one more episode ¬_¬

Also where can i see speed grapher online, its not on anime freak, it was on youtube but i couldnt see it all because like 10 minutes were cut out of certaint episodes because of one small sex scene or something, i mean if im going to watch something i want to see it all.

Personally, I don't like Death Note, but I do agree with some of your other choices. The Higurashi series is brilliant, Mnemosyne is also brilliant and Elfen Lied is okay.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni is also a really good horror/crime anime - it's more gory than Higurashi.

WITCHBLADE. I just finished the series. Almost had to cry. Great story, great animations, great action, great dialogue, amazing characters. My new favorite, tho i am new to anime. If you havent seen it, check it out on the quickness.
