I'm lucky AlHumdulillah! My parents were 100% supportive of my reverting to Islam! My Mother is a devout Christian, and my Father is a Dietist (believes in God but not organized religion). I'm lucky AlHumdulillah! My parents were 100% supportive of my reverting to Islam! My Mother is a devout Christian, and my Father is a Dietist (believes in God but not organized religion). They were BOTH so happy to se me find something I could truly have faith in and follow in absolute reverence! I wear the hijab (my Mother sends me really colorful scarves she won't use anymore), and LOVE it!

It was in the third century of the Islamic era that some of the highest intellectual luminaries had risen on the horizon of Islamic learning, whose light guided the later writers in diverse branches of knowledge. Muhammad Ibni Jarir Abu Jafar Al-Tabari (838-923 AD), was one of them and is today recognized as the father of Islamic History and one of the greatest historians that the world has produced.

The host is a bit disappointing, he seems to look upset all the time and he asks questions in such a way as though hes interrogating and not questioning... hope hes not always like that...

I honestly don't see why everyones arguing. The message in video is about peace- It's kinda lame to get on youtube to fight about your religious beliefs. Don't seek an argument- rather watch the video and express your opinions on the video. most often they do not want to take standing up for their equality to the fullest: when transformation of society has not been completed, these generations of women are hit hardest by resistance, in the workplace especially on higher hierarchical levels, with double burdens in job and family with fathers not sharing the burden (yet).
Faced with major obstacles, strict gender roles and easy solutions in the sense of detailed rules from morning to ngiht are comforting, especially to Westerners!

Don't think this simple. The world isn't that simple neither are human beings. Human beings will be tested in this life. And judged in the next.
So people that are muslims should respect the actions of kafirs if they do not offend their personal space. If you know muslims you will see them not taking you down just because you aren't a muslim. There are many examples of muslims respecting other cultures. Such as ancient India and Spain. 'There is no compulsion in religion'

WOW! This was so amazing. This is by far the best directed and produced documentry I've ever seen. It was both enlightening and intrigueing- I feel compelled to show all my friends and I will post it on a bulletin. It was facinating and I loved how you did the cuts/fades and the humor and sense of pure reality. It was both education but down to earth, it felt real and very very informative. It was such an outstanding video! I've watched it a few times. Great job!
