  • Tire... wtf is a tyre?

  • @XxHatredxX13 It's the way to spell TYRE in ENGLISH....Jesus Christ you yanks.

  • @stonefisk wtf is a yank?

  • @XxHatredxX13 one of those troll things that hail from North America... you should maybe spend less time on youtube and more time studying.

  • @stonefisk why should i spend less time on youtube? just from this video alone i leanred about balancing beads, how to fit a tire (or tyre) with ether, the other spelling of tire in english, and what a yank is. im learning alot from youtube. :P... im not even trying to hate on you... i think your videos are pretty cool. maybe its just the way im asking my questions thats making it look like im hating...

  • @XxHatredx666 righto

  • How do those balance beads work????

Do they just find the point of imbalance when the wheel is up to speed each time you drive off? Interesting.

  • Does this work with bike tires? are the beads necessary?

  • @DaedricLavaWhiskey

Beads are for balancing you could take them to a garage for balancing with lead weights on rim but you might as well get them to fit the tyre too! No idea about bike wheels - I wouldn't do this type of fitting for a fast road car nor bike, but maybe dirt bike?

  • Starter Fluid and fire, have set many a tire back on the bead with that!

  • hey just watched this video and i must say very nicely done! um i see that your a landy owner and i was just wondering you wouldnt happend to know any good sites for steel land rover rims custom and standard?

  • What are the pellets you put in the tire?? Are they for if you get a nail or something in the tire I'm very confused.

  • Just had cause to swap out a damage tyre (one of the set in this video). I used a heavyduty 12volt electric tyre inflator to put the tyre back on the rim with high flow rate of air. Maybe I was lucky but it was a simple procedure and worked first time, with no risk. So I will be in future try rapid air flow first before breaking out the explosive gases.

  • i bet those are going on a jeep right

  • nope, you lose bet.

  • then what are they going on if you dont mind me asking

  • A LandRover Defender 110 Station Wagon

  • Can you explain how the dynamic balance works?

    i can't see !

the pellets will be distributed equally in all the tire/tyre with the centrifugal force but not only in the lightest part of the wheel .

So what is the point ?

  • wtf so can that be put back on your car now?

  • .... that's the general idea.

  • those tires are called interco swamper bogger just if anyone didnt know...

  • a USA tyre of that name shares the same thread pattern, yes. But these tyres are not that brand.

  • are those like a cheap version of a bogger?

  • They *where* a remould/recase/retread produced in the UK by a company called GreenWay C-Trax and indeed a budget priced tyre. That company went belly up recently and its manufacturing equipment bought by a Polish company and shipped back to Poland. I presume you are in the USA by the way you spell tire / tyre ?

  • canada actualy...yeah those tires here are called interco boggers

  • hi mate what are them tyres like offroad and on the road and do they wear out quick ive got a new set of 235 85 16 in the shed that im fitting soon. cheers jones

  • Great offroad, one of the best in the mud. I do not mind them on road but watch top speed, rated to 69mph MAX. They tend to rip off knobbles at speed. My truck sounds like a WWII heavy bomber going down road, I quite like the noise. Adjust you driving style to suit,no speeding corners, easy on the throttle when wet. I never had a concern with handling on a 110. The wear has been ok but quicker than road tyres. GREENWAY have gone bust and bought by Polish company so can no longer buy these.

  • hi mate cheers for the info

you can still get these i got 1 last week from 4x4 accessories and tyres ltd

    mercury park

    leemingbar ind est

  • Never tried this. I wonder if it would work as well with WD40.

  • LIGHTER FLUID, WD40 ETC can be used no where as good as EasyStart which is Ether gas and expands many times it volume when ignited.

  • Cool. I'll give that a try if i get a minute when I get back to work. My cheetah hasn't failed me yet but this looks like more fun.

I only really ever have problems with 175/80 R14's though on some of the Skoda Octavia's.
