they use the cg engine so it ain't restricted. you have to ways to make it faster, buy a chinky cg copy engine or get a honda xr100 engine and takegewa it. it will costs loads but it will also be worth loads second hand so not much of a loss.

Nice pipe. is it a custom job or can you buy these? I know Arrow make a pipe for XR so should fit CLR, and so does Scorpion Exhausts. they are pricey though. Anyone know of cheaper deals?

Same here, i have a spare one, so i might actually modify it to fit an after market can :-D. How fast does yours go, mine on gets to 58mph :-(

I have reached around 65 mph (105-110km/h) might scrap off 5 more mph drilling the airbox and with a different exhaust even if the engine will no longer do a snooth noise anymore.

where can you get custom exhuast for this or performance parts ? I have 2000 model. Also how the hell do you get the seat off :S ?

Check on the back a little bit above the liscence plate, there should be a keyhole there keep the key turned when you insert it and lift the seat simply ^^.

i saw the key whole and twisted it but the seat stayed firm on :( i didnt want 2 break it so i didnt try anymore lol. do you know what sort of top boxes can fit this bike ? and where are all the mods for this bike ?

You actually have to slide it towards the back because it is held by 2 spots near the fuel depot so you ahve to drag it backwards and then lift it, as for the top box mine has one, don´t know about the 2000 model but my 99 one can fit in one, as for the mods, this is a pretty unknown bike tbh, can´t even find a copy of an owner´s manual anywhere!

whats the make of your box ? will the grab rail be the same ? how hard are they to fit ? i looked on the honda website and for the honda clr top box it says it requires a fitting kit is well :S so could i just by a top box and it would fit on ??? because some ask if they fit through the hoels or non holes what ever that meens !! :S

It´s a GIVI box I think it´s 17L but can´t tell you for sure, and well it doesn t reallly require a fitting kit since the guy who sold me simply had to drill some holes and add some screws in the back holding bars to fit it, but it´s pretty neat tbh since I can remove it and put it back whenever I want.

I just had a check at it and I can tell you it´s not a big deal

any top box would fit fine on it as it comes with the silver bracket. Mine came with a honda top box. but the key for the lock was missing so I just took it all off.

The city fly is a lovely bike. I managed to do some digging and I found me the Manual afew months ago in PDF form. a guy took pictures of each opened up page. if you send me a PM I could email you it.
