  • It is totally inappropriate for Lino to talk about another persons sin in public.

  • There is no such thing as the "Seven Deadly Sins". In the bible, there is only sin. No such things as big sin or small sin.

  • @opsvideo2008 Yeah, Pope Gregory was responsible and The Pope speaks for God on earth, so, there you go.

  • @whippedboy The pope is just a human being just as you and I are. No one can be infallible as the catholics claim the pope is. Only God Almighty is infallible. So the "Seven Deadly Sins" is just a man-made teaching. It is not of the bible because IT IS NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE.

  • @opsvideo2008 Like I said, the Pope is the one who interprets what the Bible says. It's called dogma. HEard of it? If you don't understand what the Pope does or who he is, then I am having a pointless discussion with a moron. Actually, I don't give a shit.

  • @whippedboy If you had really read and understand the bible, you would have known that when it comes to understanding the bible, the word of God, Jesus said it is the Holy Spirit who will teach the believer all things, not another man such as the pope. But I doubt you knew that Jesus taught this. If you did, you wouldn't be following another man's teaching and interpretation of God's word. You had just admitted it.... you said you didn't give a shit.

  • @opsvideo2008 I meant I don't give a shit about you. Ah, so I see now, when YOU read the Bible, YOU interpret it, right? Who do you think wrote the Bible, moron? Damn. So then do you rest every Sabbath? Do you follow it that closely?

  • @opsvideo2008 Because if you don't rest, then the penalty is death. The Bible says so.

Exodus 31 verse 15 tells us exactly what to do: For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death.

Bye-bye. Or would you rather take The Pope's interpretation? Or are you just picking and choosing what YOU like?

  • @whippedboy Obviously you only understand the interpretation of the bible that you received from your catholic church. When you quoted Exodus 31:15 to justify death for anyone who did not observe the Sabbath, you didn't understand what Jesus had achieved by His death besides dying for the sins of mankind. You should read the book of Romans esp. chapter 7 to understand why the Mosaic law is no longer applicable to christians. The only true interpretation is that of the Holy Spirit, not man.

  • One of the first comments on this video said it was "weird" that people are laughing at others' sins. It's not weird at all. I laughed at O'Reilly's meltdown myself when I saw it elsewhere. It was quite funny. The only thing that's weird is that someone is honest enough to say in the same breath, yes it's funny, and yes, it's a sin. Is it a sin to think it's funny? No, and that's the whole point. Sin exposes sinners to embarrassment. Laughter is an appropriate response.

  • It's "have a listen" Not "Take a listen" you can "Take" a look at something.

  • I'd be pretty fed up if I wasn't briefed on my script before hand, it's a waste of money and time to record mistakes. What does your god say about ridiculing others in a public forum? I can't stand Bill O'Reilly, but you guys are dicks.

  • He's white that's how he got his own show and he is republican.

  • does the bible say anything about making fun of others?

  • good ole Bill O Liary

  • Why censoring it?

  • This clip was on Catholic radio. Couldn't play that stuff

  • Ahh, right. And they were talking about what God thought about cursing and that it was a sin.

  • Did you listen to the clip? They weren't bashing O'Reilly. The host just played the clip because he thought it was funny.

  • Bill O'Rielly is so dumb. How did he ever get his own show.

  • @punkmanjon Fox.

  • Viva Cristo Rey! You're a bigot.

  • I just watched his video on myspace. He's great. Thanks for the video.

  • CATHOLICS ARE AWESOME!!!!

  • I reserve that for God cause some are pediphiles and they certainly arent that

  • every religion has pedophiles biznatch!

  • These guys do not like sin but they admit to watching the video over 50 times! Sin must not be all that bad :D

  • Just out of curiosity, it's fine to have your opinion, but if you are going to call catholicism blasephemous, you should back it up with facts. Anybody can make a blanket statement. Giving reasons is much harder to do, and as such, shows that you are a little lazy :-O

  • Red, were i to begin my study of Calvinism should I explore Lapsarianism, Arminianism, Four-point Calvinism, Hyper-Calvinism, Neo-orthodoxy, Neo-Calvinism, Christian Reconstructionism? Please advise sicne yuor smratr (and most holyier) then me, which is why i can only 'get' Catholicism.

  • giggymiles,

No problem. Arminianism is not Calvinism. Infra vs Supra lapsarianism is a discussion on the logical ordering of God's decrees, not variations of Calvinism. 4-point Calvinism is another name for Arminianism. Hyper-Calvinism is a term coined by Arminians pretending to be Calvinists. Neo-orthodoxy is not Calvinism. Christian Reconstructionism is Roman Catholic, you should know this.

Calvinism emphasizes the primacy of the intellect. You should work on your spelling.

  • Actually, Christian Reconstructionism is not Roman Catholic-based like you incorrectly stated. A quick search on Google brings up multiple sites that support this fact.

Before making outlandish claims (or correcting other people's spelling), like you did earlier by calling Catholicism blasphemous, you should work on your research.

  • Oh dear, do I need to quote the medieval popes to demonstrate to my little catholic friend that Reconstructionism is Roman Catholic, not Protestant?

It was also a main thesis among the Jews of the 16th Century. Martin Luther, who rejected the notion, referred to Reconstructionism as "Jewish dreams of a Golden Age."

Hey, your spelling has improved. Good for you.

  • Oh, I did some looking, Redbeetle, and if you had done your research, you'd know that Christian Reconstructionism is a protestant based movement. Nowhere did I find CR having catholic roots: in fact, the wikipedia entry lists R.J. Rushdoony, a Calvinist theologian, as the founder of the movement!

  • Lovely how you failed to answer my question, Red! Your reply is brimming with self-loving insincerity! And your pedantics serve only you well and can give you and Calvin something to share in purgatory! Be sure you two knuckleheads look me up while there. The three of us could go pick some twolips. :P

  • 2nd Maccabees furthers your understanding of purgatory, Clarkap. 'Trinity' is absent from the Bible, yet is a tradition fundamental to all of Christianity. Since 'trinity' is not in the Bible, is it invalid, too? Clarkap, while you remove all the splinters from other Christians' eyes, be mindful of how handsome the 2x4 sticking out of your own is! You can have faith without works, the same way you can be a singer without song. God love you!

  • That's a rather bold, charged statement. Do you know how God judges? Are you saying that Catholics, no matter their belief in Jesus Christ, are eternally condemned by God? Paul had a good deal to say about not questioning another person's faith in Jesus, especially by petty arguments of doctrine. In the end, all that matters is accepting Jesus into your life; the rest of the issues aren't as important. You'll find out about Heaven and all that when ya get there.

  • I desagree i mean if the crew failed or acted as morons, Bill shouldn't have reacted in that way, there in no justification for that, he needs anger management, as simple as that.

  • All of the hate that Bill O'Reilly puts forth every evening, and you dredge up a recording of him getting angry and cursing at work 10 years ago as an example of "sin"?!?! That about sums up the Catholic viewpoint as I've experienced it in this lifetime. But, hey, I've been lucky--I didn't live any other life that I can recall--a life that the Catholic Church unjustly punished or tortured or beat or raped or killed--all sins, by the way, that the church gave itself the power to commit! Peace.

  • Wow, bringing up past sins of people who abused the catholic faith for their own purposes? Guess I should curse my own skin color and gender, for many white men have done terrible things.

Actually, I think O'Reilly was the moron for getting so bent out of shape...when the tech guy explained it to him, he could have calmed down, but instead chose to rant and rave like a lunatic.

Isn't that a rule of TV journalism, that you ALWAYS assume the camera is rolling?

  • These gusy are right: sin is awful; and not just the glaring, sexual sins. But their amusement at this supposedly awful thing is nearly as disturbing as the sin itself. Ha ha -- look at O'Reilly dishonor God and disobey His ways. Isn't that a hoot! These guys' response is really weird. God grieves at men's disobedience; it cost Jesus His life. Every one of us is as guilty as Bill O because we all have sinned in many ways. That includes taking pleasure and glee in the failings of others.
