And I thought I was behind with Alton Towers 2001 I last went. When they start using the whole 'Gothic revival' theme throughout the whole park? This seems far too bright and colourful compared the park I remember. The x-sector, the forbidden valley and the gloomy wood that's the Alton Towers I remember as a kid.

im telling you now..alton towers is the best day out you will ever have. it has the most amazing atmosphere and the best rides. you wont regret going so make sure you have a day out there. even for pensioners lol and 12 year olds like me :)

ALTON TOWERS IS THE BEST!!!! I GO THER EVERY YEAR! WOOW! henry hound has been gone 4 yrs.... also wid the DJ guy, blk hole, around the world in 80days, tht show of the dogs, the doll shop thing, some of thouse eating places,log fume cos its now chnaged 2 duck thing but ther are amazing new rides and food places 2 go!

Alton towers is a rip offffffffff!! I got stuck on air for 15 mins, given lip off the bitch selling me a drink, the halloween tower closed early and I got crippled on ripsaw. Oh well...I wrote a letter and complained and got three free tickets, maybe I'll enjoy it next time as it's free haha.

Ahhh.... Memories. I remember the wild mouse and the 80 days around the world ride, the shuttle loop and my favourte, "The Beast" (basically the black hole ride, but outdoors) before they pulled them down... :-(

I'm gutted they got rid of Henry and Henrietta cos they're wat made it so magic when i was a kid. I'm 19 now and the different characters walking around (jugglers, dracula, dogs etc) and the ice shows and musicals on the bandstand are wat made it, its too commercialised now
