so even tho you said the 27 had a sharp recoil and less controllable, could you still rapid fire 4-5 rounds accurately at someone charging you? i know 4-5 rounds of 40smith is more than enuf, but i was just wondering
glockmeister stainless steel recoil assemblies. i have had one fall apart on me with not even 1000 rounds through it. might have been a lemon as the others i have run well. seems like using these my groups are a tad bit better and even though it wont flex like the polymer rods are made to do for the reliability factor, i havent had any failures yet through thousands of rounds through them combined.
@zboyco Interesting. I've heard the horror stories on the forums about the stock guide rod in the Subs but I thought that was just a rare lemon. I mean they're Glocks!!! I was set on getting the one from Lone Wolf but we'll see....
i own an xd but the glock has gotten better groups with its lower bore axis but i only had one malfunction in almost a 1000 rounds thru it.xd is a fine piece
they are all semi-auto except the G18 which is select fire, semi and full. there have been modified glocks converted to full auto like the g26 and g19 i have seen online
Hi zboyco. I have a 26 - first gun I ever purchased. At what distance can you shoot it accurately?? How many rounds do you have thru it? Thanks Sir. Sincerely, JAMES.
funny you ask that because i have a video posted of me firing the G26 at a 8 inch wide steel column at 100 yards and hitting it pretty consistently. probably got a couple thousand rounds through mine. so at 7-10 yards which is going to be the normal range of defending yourself, its quite capable
BTW dude when it comes to auto cartridges i always go big n slow, cause honestly unless you're shooting at somebody wearing armor , 800-1000 fps does me just fine. Torque isn't always everything , nor is weight, But starin down the muzzle of a big bore handgun ala 45 auto is scary no matter how you slice it..
depending on atmospheric conditions etc, ( quality of ammunition / firearm ) Its obvious that bigger rounds make it easier to hit static targets ,aside from typical brick/stone arguements.
yes. more kinetic energy is created than the 9mm or 40 even though its slower and the 45 will hold and displace its energy in its target greater than the others
ye dude first rule of hydrostatic shock, Bigger is Better. Expansion makes the difference with remote wounding and neurological damage caused by a hydrostatic shockwave, so when you say .380 i say 10mm auto. Tho i couldn't say that to boyco cause he's got the same idea in mind , bein a firearms expert an all. ALTHOUGH, that's not to say there aren't 9mm rounds that outperform .45 auto's...
maybe not to samuel colt but dude you ain't no jack dope armchair commando, you actually own a sizeable arsenal from what i've seen you got more firepower than my local police department, and being an enthusiast myself i can say you easily carry a much higher education on the subject than most of the wacky mofos in comparison. In a sea of piss an shit called youtube your vids are a fine white grain of rice that snuck thru unharmed
that fuckin nutnfancy dick makes me wanna puke man, still
ha, well thanks for the nice words man. everyone talkin bout nutnfancy these days it seems. i just dont care enough to care. this is youtube. a virtual playground of ego maniacs. i take it not seriously and enjoy talking with the gun guys and make a little money with the partnership i was invited for
EG a 230 grain speer lawman .45 auto movin 840fps hitting with a few marks under 500 joules, your 115 grain standard jacketed 9mm para dropping a few marks under 600 joules at 1050 fps
lol im startin to come under the impression you own every single fuckin gun available on todays modern market keep it up man, i don't comment often but beleive me when i say you got homeboys in places you don't even know about... When the world starts endin I'll be runnin in your direction dude As usual, all the best bro, Cheers from Canada
The octagonal rifling provides a better gas seal in the large caliber .45 ACP. for the other calibers i suppose glock needed feel the need for the octagonal
the 19 has a 4in barrell, not 4.5in that the 17 has

You have a good point about getting a compact and using a normal cap magazine for everyday use. Obviously there are other differences but good idea.

PeenaPuba 2 years ago
i wanted the russian pistol the Tokarev or the ak 74 when its compact for tank crews or paratroopers
PeenaPuba 2 years ago
excellent choices. cheap surplus ammo available for both also. the 7.62x25 tokarev and 5.45x39 ak-74 are devastating rounds.
zboyco 2 years ago
i know they use the same rounds for the m16 becuse in the battlefield they could use ammo frome there allies if they run out
PeenaPuba 2 years ago
close. the m16 uses 5.56x45 NATO
zboyco 2 years ago
ur right so wat should i get the russian pistol or the ak 74
PeenaPuba 2 years ago
didnt you want to get both?
zboyco 2 years ago
i really dont know man
PeenaPuba 2 years ago
that previous comment dealing strictly with handguns, excluding "pistols" chambered for rounds built around assault rifles.
