i visited havana and varadero in cuba this year and it was the most amazing holiday i've ever been on. the people are so happy friendly and the culture is brilliant. despite earning pitance compared to us folk in the 'rich' world, they hold happiness and moral values so much, and i will definitely visit cuba in the future, a special culture and atmosphere

I was in Cuba when in 2008 and I never felt that related to a foreign country; I'm german, and when you look in somebody's eyes for too long in germany, you will get beaten up -- if you do it in cuba you have a new friend :) I love the country, the people and the music, everytime I hear about poverty and shortages my heart is bleeding. Cubans, you are NOT alone in this world, there ARE people, who think of you and who believe in you ;)

Anyone who has been to Cuba this summer might be able to help me...there were several Latin dance songs that were played in literally every hotel, bar, club in Cuba wherever you went...be it Havana, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Varadero .etc I've tried looking for them on here but can't find any, don't know if they were actually Cuban or Latin in general, I'm assuming they are big 2011 summer hits...anyone got any suggestions?
