Dude Vogg is an educated, schooled musician; he's fucking awesome. Listen to Winds of Creation, in which he was somewhere around 17 years old, give or take a year maybe. Don't remember honestly. But he's a very good player; watch him live, he's frigging insanely awesome to watch in person. Almost never fucks up either. Vogg fuckin rules the schools son.

@Fall4Kingdom Vogg's a modern deathmetal guitarist, of course he's gonna be better than dime in the riffing department....dime just didn't catch any of the influence from underground death metal because he was to busy enjoying his mainstream success. Pantera's riffs were simply and not as heavy as the shit that was brewing in the underground scene.

correct me if I'm wrong but I think he likes playing the Washburns as Dimebag played Washburns from like 93 - 2003. I don't see it as a "washburn copy" of the Dean...I think he just like's the Washburn MLs. Mauzer from Vader played the Washburn MLs as well as John Gallager of Dying Fetus. Maybe he wants to play Dean now...either way, it'd be cool for Dean to add him to their artists, but I'd miss him and the Washburns. I have a Dean ML - dimebag shadow/black \m/. I want a washburn too.
