IT SUCKS.

It is a 2g, and even a full reception, when it lies on the table it turns on and says missed call.

You made an 8 minute video about how to turn off 3g? I figured that out within about 2 seconds after I got my iPhone. You can see it constantly switch...what do you think happens when you switch towers. Lack of a signal for a second. Dropped call.

It's good information that people should know, but I don't wanna hear all your useless nonsense. If some people do, god bless those people.

Now address the problem of getting absolutely no signal in the middle of major cities and I'll be happy

Just wanted to say great video. IT ACTUALLY WORKS! Yes, I too have really started hating my iPhone at times... But I love it too much to switch. I am hopeful that the carrier prices for service will come down eventually.

what customer service told you makes sense. Consider that probably most of the 3G bandwidth there is busy not much because people using smart phones for calling, but because they use it for high speed Internet connection. 2G being slower is less used for Internet mobile so the line is not congested. About the apartment, I don't think that represents a big obstacle for the field intensity in your room. This said the call quality doesn't get any worse passing to 2G, you are not using Skype.
