Gee all the characters I know dissappeared when back watching Neighbours. All saw some new casts. Shock when Stingray dies. It seem it a different show when I saw it again,cos of work I stop watching Neighbours for long then went back watching it, it different people.
when you see the ads now - the show looks so crap. i don't watch it because there is no story line; since everyone left its just a crappy daytime soap :(
i miss all the good people in neighbours! They have to come back! Sky,Boyd,Kerry,all the Timmons, Ned,Elle, Pepper,Carmella,Rosetta,Fraiser, Rachel and Her boyfriend all the oldies!
Jeez, the Timmons, some of the cool girls and guys, Sky, Harold, Pepper and the good plot lines. Why did all of that have to leave. Now this series is mumbo jumbo.
It just seems so appropriate for Boyd and Sky to leave together! They were such a great couple and were a massive part of each other's lives for the entire run. I really miss their characters, everyone on Neighbours these days is just completely unrelatable :(
@angelus0038 yeah, she went up to where dylan was making a new life for himself so kerry could get to know both her parents. dont think they were getting back together though, but just as friends
The current credits began on 23rd July, and Sky and Boyd left on 3rd August, but I can never remember if Sky and Boyd were ever in the current credits style?
I agree to an extent that Sky, Dylan, Stingray, Bree, Janae etc were really good characters back then, and i do miss them alot but right now i'm enjoying the new characters, i love Declan's character, i reckon Donna's great, one of the best characters they've brought on the show, and i loved the whole teen pregnancy storyline with baby India as the result
i totally agree with u. there arnt very good characters on neighbours anymore... i rekon 2004, 2005, and 2006 and 2003 had the best storyline and the best character. i mean only somone dum would makestingray dies and the timmins leave and that. its crap now.
@soccerizthebest Totally agree with you. I think the best two eras in Neighbours ever are 1987 - 1991 and exactly what you said: 2003 - 2006. I think the Timmons' are one of the best families there has ever been. Plus, the whole pub fire and Paul Robinson comeback, the plane crash, Harold's changes after his stroke... they seemed to be fresh with ideas during this time and concentrated on a perfect mix of adult and teenage drama. Now it seems to be nearly all teenage drama!
Well, that's just your opinion. Besides....how totally hot is Dean Geyer who plays Ty?!?! He totally floats MY boat. I'd have him serenade to me ANY day.
I can certainly agree with that. But just imagine how boring tv shows would get if nothing ever changed....if non of the new characters brought different flavours to the show....if the types of storylines stayed the same? I like Neighbours because of the different kinds of characters that come and go.....I wouldn't like it so much if things DID forever stay the same....
he left after stingray died, he was a bit messed up so he went to live with his dad so he could get better and sky decided to go n live there so kerry could be close to her dad...hope that helps x
She was always one of my fave characters. I loved the fact that beyond the looks, she really did have one hell of a brain and very backboned as well. She was always gonna be unique and will always be missed.
