"Fuck normality in the ass." That should be on a T-shirt, seriously. You spoke exactly what I was thinking when I was watching Tegan's videos. There's no reason anyone should lose sleep over an artificial series of social perimeters and synthetic ideals. I can understand the loneliness though. I think what Tegan is experiencing is that she cannot be "normal" as a guy - but she also cannot be "normal" as a girl, and now it seems she's back to the same square 1 before transition.
Yeah, I get it too. Everyone wants to 'fit in' to some degree. I think she does much more then she thinks she does but it would still be very hard for her.
Pretty well summed up in a vid what myself and others have been trying to say through text to her other doubts vids.
Really hope Tegan will be alright through this ordeal. Really depressing seeing her the way she is right now but she's definately going through rough times right now. Definately way too hard on herself and I know that feeling well. ;_;
Here's to Tegan: Happiness, calming resolution, self respect, and to pulling through with no regrets on whatever path she chooses now. <3
