While 'talking lips' Mr. Ed was aided in effect by Skippy and other brands of p.b, he was a horse with tremendous savvy who performed well on cue.

Horses are quite smart, with A-1 dead reckoning and reference navigation.

Mr. Ed's owner said that Mr. Ed was, "... without a doubt, the smartest horse I have ever known." Mr. Ed lived 33 years. Mr. Ed was interred in back of his companion owner's house.

Dont know when I was a teenager I watched it on Nick at night, in the early 90s I think. But its a good show a hellava lot better than Hannah Montana. These people want to sell new shows so badly you dont get to see the oldies bit goodies much, hell you cant even see Dick Van Dyke and such. Shit even classics from the 80s like Married with children dont come on, neither do Merrie Melodies. Its just rehashed sitcoms with a few white people in new york, or that Terrible show two and a half men.
