Why do people think that SAS and SEALS are the best squads. The most trained and ready Squad is SASR (special air service regiment which is the same a the SAS just Australian and are trained for harsh deserts and jungle where SAS are trained for close rang light cover areas).

The SEAL teams were not created by Green Berets. Delta Force was based on Charlie Beckwith's experience with the British SAS, not traditional US Army experience.

Then Team 6 in 1980. Sometime around 83, the rest of the UDTs were then changed into Teams 3-5. 8 was formed in 89, just before Panama. 7 & 10 were created after 9/11.

theres no such thing as SEAL Team 6. they do not exist, they are a myth... There was a SEAL Team 6 but thats not their name. No1 knows their name, all the info we have on "SEAL Team 6" is false.... Someone got in trouble by a Navy Admiral by mentioning "SEAL Team 6" in a forums...

@batcountryboy93 Not entirely true. SEAL Team 6 used to exist, but is now called DEVGRU (Naval Special Warfare Development Group). Like Delta Force, they're a tier 1 special operations force.

There will always be some better than others....and wether americans like it or not the best in the world are the SAS and the SBS.........that is why the SEAL teams and Delta work with them and learn from them. and that is fact from my own experiences in the Paras

Delta is in the same class as the SAS and JTF2 all 3 train together fight together not taking anything from the seals at all they r all the best of the best but Detla,SAS, and the JTF2 r in a way different class than all other special forces in the world but they r all fighting for the freedom of others

@varun009 There is a big difference between SEAL Teams 1-5 and SEAL Team 6 ,DEVGRU,
DEVGRU is very similar to 1st SFOD-D,Delta Force, are tier 1 operators special mission units
When the govt want something done , these boys are called into action and it will be done
as for the rest of the Navy Seals those are special operation force somewhat like the Army Rangers but a little bit more elite, DEVGRU are the best of the best from Navy Seals and Delta Force are the best of the best from USSF/Ranger
