The 07 on back accords were great. The 08 to present ones are kind of crappy. It's just like the camry. The 06 on back were nice, but the 07 to present are crap.
i like 04-07 better than the new one, they are much more comfortable, the size is good and most important the road noise is less, i drove my friend 09 i was like where is this sound coming from.He was complaining about the same thing he cant do any thing now because he bought it like 3 months ago and now he realize the road noise.i also noticed this car has much better seats compare to 08,09 or 10. the only thing i am concerned about is the 2.4L engine how good is it in summer time with AC
lol figures there would be one asshole the would be talking shit on newer hondas, funny i have a 2007 ex and had nothing wrong with it just normal oil changes and shit like that guess that faggot talking shit should give a honda the world maybe he would like it, he probly drives a fucking gay as sunfire or cavilier
i have this car right now only mine is gold..only this is my first car, so i souped it up a bit. but overall a pretty good car. keep the oil and gas good in it, and it will run forever
Quick question, Does your Milan have a 4 banger? I've driven a few Ford Taurus with the 3.0 engine and they were one of the smoothest cars I've been in.
@watso64 yes the Milan is the 2.3L 4cyl...I've driven a V6 version of the car as well for a week and it was decently smooth, nothing special though. My mom's Jetta 2.0T and the Chevrolet Traverse both have ultra smooth engines as well.
@stanson1980 the 2003-2007 2.4i Accords have 160hp and the 2008 and newer models have 177hp in trim levels below EX and EX-L and 190hp in EX and EX-L models
@Motorfordtoyota right lol i just had to tighten my ebrake cable at 70k cause they get loose about to do the shoes but it really takes the stress off the park gear. and its really good for the trans.
@TaylorMMontgomery nope, I hit the cruise control button by accident because I was driving with one hand and filming with the other...no 4cyl Honda Accord ever had traction control or stability control until both became standard equipment in 2008 when it was redesigned
the mercury milan is a good car, but mainly because it is heavily based on a mazda 6. and the engine is rough in the mazda too, because its also designed by mazda. but the milan does have a nicer interior than the mazda 6.
Hey man...i have a 2005 Accord LX, dark blue with Gold package and pin strip down each side...looks sweet for a plain LX...love that damn car, the 2.4L i-VTEC is a sweet and durable engine, revs nice and smooth the only thing I've changed is a K&N filter and I've put 85,000 trouble free miles on it since new, still runs like new..good car
I give a shit about the Milan, I own one! The only part I liked about the Accord more than the Fusion/Milan twins was that it has a way quieter and smoother four cylinder. Although the Accord is a great vehicle, I like the more substantial feel of the Milan...I like the heavier steering in conjunction with the more supple ride quality much better than the light steering and stiff ride quality...although the Accord does ultimately have very responsive handling. Just my humble opinion :)
I agree. Every time I drive it I feel very satisfied and happy because it's built sooooo well and the engine is sooooo smooth and quiet, powerful even. They are very good cars, but kind of dull. I like them because they're bulletproof, fun to drive, and high quality. The way I see it is I really like the Accord, but it's not something I love. I respect Honda greatly, but they don't stir any emotions for me. The Milan has personality, while the Accord earns respect and loyalty.

@mkg00179504 the 4 cylinders power is more than enough for an average driver.

That's why your mom and I both drive a Milan!
mercmilan06 2 years ago
I like how Hondas run and function but the thing that keeps me from liking them is there dry bland characterless appearance.
