I had the great pleasure and privilege of meeting Professor Clayton during last week's Newcastle Science Festival. She gave a fascinating report on the research projects in which she is involved, and even had the astonishing courage to partner me on the dance floor in my first ever Tango!

I have my experiences of watching birds since as a child. I was fasionated by the way crows get together and mourn when one of the birds die by accident or by will of people who poison by accident. this i thought people csn learn about comunity sirit and and togetherness.
