To be fair to Mark, he's beaten all 3 on some important occasions, for instance over Hendry in 98 and 03 masters finals, over Higgins in 99 and 00 world semis and i recall a couple of victories over O'Sullivan around 99. They've all beaten him to, and particularly in recent years Higgins and O'sullivan seem to have the indian sign over him

@dharma6662000... look at the new breed of youngsters like Judd Trump, Jamie Cope, Mark Selby. they play attacking snooker and with flair. the older generation bar alex higgins and jimmy white never played attacking snooker. griffiths, reardon, thorburn, willie thorne could practically bore the pants off with their style of play. the sport is expanding globally hence more tournaments annually. the only reason the sport will die is due to lack of sponsorship and characters in the game.
