I think y ou produced a very nice video and I sure as hell will be trying this recipe! And you DIID make a lot of food for under 10 bucks!!! Nice musical selection too! My only request is that you show us how to make shrimp scampi wearing leather and heels. Your choice of red or black, But you definitely have fans here! Keep up the good work This was impressive!!!
This was so cool. I've watched over 2 hours of "how to - for bacon wrapped scallops." Your approach is off the charts. You go girl. I'll be cooling Melissa style for a large group tomorrow. For those looking for the best way - you've got to invest 7.5 minutes on this video. BB
get scallops at costco I get them for $8.99 a lbs. (big ass ones) hand dived not dredged... about a min a side, that is it... best place for scallops in the southeast... marinade in orange juice, but not too long, (it will cook it) lol... then brush with olive oil and jerk seasoning... DONE!
Great meal. Scallops were delicious. However, I don't use the micro when I absolutely don't have to. Hi-frequency micorwaves destroys the nutritional quality of food and makes it tase blander than if you cook it. Making stove-top rice is one of the great simple pleasures of cooking and it only takes like 2 to 5 minutes. I use the micro for quick heating (1 min. or less), defrosting.
I wish people would not talk about something they have no clue about, a microwave does not destroy nutritional quality of food. They use a FM frequency to aggravate water molecules creating heat. It usually drys things out making it seem not as fresh. Most frozen microwavable food doesn't contain nutritional value before it goes into the microwave. Fresh will always taste better but you don't nutrition when you have to microwave something
It's cooking food in water that destroys nutrients the most according to the studies I saw -- so boiling or microwaving IN WATER are worse than roasting, grilling, and steaming. Microwaves themselves are probably not bad, but as they are fast and cook the food inside & out at the same time it is easier to accidentally overcook the food and lose nutrients due to heat damage.
"thaw scallops in water"? "crispy"?? "margerin", "7 min", "(microvawe) rice and mkicrovawed frozen vegetables"?? Oh dear what a waste of scallops! Substitude them by some chicken breasts or hamburger THEN that dish would make sense. What do scallops have to do with any of it??
damn, i watched all your videos...i dont know what else to do..lol...luv scallops. they are the best!!!!!! i go to culinary arts school, and i showed your vid to my teacher, HE LUVS YOU NOW! lol, cant wait for your new vids...later
I have to admit, your a little bit cheesy, but the food looked good. I hate when chefs go all "no frozen no good" with frozen vegetables. Power to the people!
Bacon wrapped scallops and wu-tang clan, best combo ever.

I also pre cook the bacon, It makes it more crisp and it also shrinks the bacon so you dont have 5 layers of bacon around a scallop, Great video

Dont soak that scallops, the scallops absorb the water and it takes away from the texture and flavor !!!

7 to 8mins? that seems way to long. Scallops should be raw in the middle. Otherwise they just taste like rubber.
