There would have been an autocue on both sides of the stage. It is a standard practice at theatre concerts but doesn't look like he was using either of them.
on the DVD on the extras he says he has the autocues there to make sure he doesnt go wrong/ get too sidetracked. says that people pay alot of money to come see him so he doesnt wanna risk forgetting a lyric or anything because they deserve the best - or something to that effect
I like him singing this better than Bette Midler. I think it suits a male voice better. Saw him in Bournemouth. Best night of my life too. And i've seen Elton John in concert!
I was sat in row J so was still fairly close. Its a shame though; me and my friend got lost in the city centre so we was late and missed the first song- dont stop me now :(

I love this song soo much, i went to the one in birimingham he was amazing!!! just after he went of stage everyone started stamping their feet for him to come back out and sing this song:) i am soo glad he sung this song it was the bast night of life!!

John Barrowman sings this very well, a lovely performance.
Cliff Richard does perform this better personally but this is a very good performance; it is not a particularly easy track to sing!

I went to see him perform at Sheffield City hall and i must say he was truely amazing.
It was the first show of the tour and someone from the front row actually snogged him when he gave her his towel for giving him some flowers.
