nice, thanks for the vid. So i been thinking about doing this but it seems complicated as hell. i have a 2011 and they said i have to splice to trunk lift. So how was your experience are you a mechanic? is it easy for anyone, i do some work to my car but i dont want it to be an all day 3hour + job

@The45Whispers For me this took about an hour. I am not a mechanic, and I have limited automotive experience. This is not complicated and came with great instructions. For the 2011 you do have to splice into your trunk lid switch, which should not be hard, but may take some experience to do correctly. If you have a friend with wiring experience I'm sure he could help you make this a worthwhile short project.
