Do your neighbors complain about the sound of your bike? I live in a college area so I'm not too worried but that looks like a very nice neighborhood where people might complain about excess noise. Of course, you live in America whereas we here in San francisco seem to live on planet whiner. LOL
I can start it that way even with its cold. I ended up stripping the pedal right out the crank after starting like that too often. Cheap walmart bike... I replaced the crank, and pedals. They are higher quality parts. I shouldn't have that problem again.
No major problems. The problems I have had are mostly my fault. I am estimating that I put over 1,000 miles on this engine so far. I know that I have put on over 200 just in the past week.
Hey can you smell the gas? And 2... Does the engine ever get hot by your legs? Thanks!

Nope. It is not loud at all. It sounds like a moped. I wish that camera I used recorded sound.

I have Got to get me on of these.

With the 20 and 30 mph speedlimits around here I could probably get around as quick on one of these.

I was thinking of buying this very kit. How satisfied are you with it so far? Any break downs?

Awesome. You will have a big grin on your face after you travel 130 - 150 miles on a gallon of gas :)

Don't start the engines on cheap bike this way! I just broke my pedal right off!!!
joshmanz28 3 years ago
Wy don't you just start pedaling and pop the clutch?

That is how I normally do it. I kick started it in this video just to be different.
