@weakestlink90 actually ANZ is at the top of the big four with customer service and last is NAB. They have the most satisfied customers in regards to customer service. I know because I work for a bank (not ANZ) and it was part of our induction training as a customer service officer. You should be able to find the stats online somewhere too.

@OrhanCorporation own retail.. ill assume u havent worked retail. or any customer service job then. This ad is just exaggerating poor service, i doubt you'd find anything that bad irl. But like the person you were replying to said, customers do expect too much at times. I can somewhat empathise with barbara in that you get so many shit customers that you stop caring after a while. But someone like u saying "do your job properly, customer is always right blah blah" never worked in that situation.

My point is that if u had any idea the shit u put up with in retail or customer service you may get off your high horse a bit.. i've become more patient, tolerant as a customer since working in retail. Not necessarily tolerate that bank manager attitude, but don't expect to be waited on hand and foot and expect to get everything i want
