know what, taylor may not have the best singing voice, but there's something about her voice that's calming. I have no idea why. The carries, kellys and christinas of this world are amazing vocally, but taylor's voice is soothing, and yes, her songs are (most of the time) made up of rather simple chords, but so what? if she can come up with catchy songs which a majority of us can relate to with a "Few simple chords", it honestly just makes her all the more talented. I am twice as old as Taylor Swift but I think she deserves accolades for staying true to herself. People - lay off about her singing because this young lady can SING! She sings with true emotion and as a guy I am always moved by her lyrics. Taylor for me reaffirms my faith in younger singers who have talent and depth and don't just get their kit out to sell a few more albums. Taylor deserves all her success and I see her future as extremely bright - other young artists should take note!!!
