i've been looking for an is300 for a while. just haven't found the "right" one yet. and im also lookin at an is300 L tuned edition...those are sick. but this video was awesome! turned a v6 215hp into a v8 315hp (or more). thanks for uploading brah!

I love my '05 IS300, too bad I cant afford to do what FOOSE does. I'm a bit baffled why they would have left the stock lighting and hood on it. Plus, it would have been interesting to see if they could have done something with a straight 6. Sure, a good ole' American V8 has more torque, but isn't the idea to see what its capable of under a few constraints? That was a very cool paint job, though.

1. Was it difficult to get the 4.3liter to fit?

2. Were the engine mounts from another car or did you fabricate your own? Is there a swap kit for this setup?

v8's have always proven better. better fuel dispersion, ptw ratio's, and smoother rotations and less strain on the crankshaft. all around better for racing. especially if your running ethanol which is the preferred form of fuel with forced induction motors. in short. every time the v8 is believed to be out of date it always prevales over v6 4, and inline motors.

@miubhi856 Big waste of money to put the V8 in the IS300 when you can spend way less on a faster revving 2JZ-GTE that can produce as much if not more than the V8 is capable of.
