  • Hey what kind of Exhaust manifold are you using?

  • Dont you need to upgrade your ECU for a bigger turbo? I just got a 93 3sgte turbo and fuel injected is a new thing for me.

  • I got mine in trunk as well, it will cool allrigth not like suppose but when I go to the track maybe sound funny but I put a bag of ice and wow that pipe it's freezing going to the engine :) good job bro and try the ice bag

  • why do you have your charge air cooler installed in the trunk?

  • I like that top mount turbo!! ScHweet!

  • twin turbo?

  • trunk mount intercooler hmmmm..doesnt make much sense to put it in a trunk cuz air cant get to it while its in an enclosed trunk....more air better performance just saying. looks cool tho

  • A Turbo that size does make a lot off heat

  • Yeah the intercooler is not that great.....u do need a water to air system is much better

  • Holy balls. Awesome

  • how effective is that intercooler being cooled?

why not just go with a water to air intercooler? saves u some room in the bay

  • Thank you for uploading a car video without fking music....its nice to actually hear the engine!!!

  • Is the hks they sell it only wit Turbo kit from hks

  • what brand is that turbo manifold ive been looking for a while

  • Looks like you slapped a aftermarket turbo on a nearly stock 3sgte... Wanna see a crazy build check my vids out

  • how does the air get to the trunk?????

  • That engine sounds stock besides the turbo, can you post the specs?

  • Is your turbo watercooled? Where does the water cooling line go to, to get water to the turbo?

  • 91 to 95 mr2's come in two version,....

    U.S models

1- 91-95 non turbo mr2's with a 5sge engine the same one thats in the camry's

    2. 91-95 turbo mr2's come with a 3s-gte which in the 3s-gte family is the 2 generation.

    JAPAN models

    3. 95 - 98 japan only turbo mr2 come with a 3s-gte which is the 3rd generation of the 3s family. this is the year they stop making mr2's but the 3s-gte engine was istill being produce in the 99 toyota celica gt4 version. with a 3s-gte pushing 265hp.hope it help u out.

  • @KingLeonidas05 I thought it was the 5sfe motor, instead of 5sge

  • do 2nd generation mr2's already come with the 3sgte or is it only the 3rd gen's that have them? someone plz reply quickly, thanks

  • there nice when they have a gen 3 3sgte

  • Nice! I have a 92 turbo.

  • thank up sir....i building a new project with the MR2 gen3 power plan.....i will post a video of this new project....my goal is faster then a 2010 wrx and low to the ground like a races car......if u guys know the ARIEL ATOM well faster then than and much better looking.....i hope i can register the car......keep posted

  • @KingLeonidas05 it really should not take much to do that....i have not got to take mine(mr2) to the track yet(still building) but from what i know, if you know how to drive a jdm mr2 u can keep up or beat and 2010 wrx all day long if ur just talking about wrx u will def win ....this is why so 3gen 3sgte mr2 245hp 2,612lbs--wrx 265 hp 3,174lbs,,sti is 305hp 3,395. u can take both as long as u know how to take off

  • Clean engine dude

  • well for the trunk mount i just put 2 10inch fan on the bottom....if anybody wants to run this kind of setup is better to get a water to air system....the engine was a gen3 3sgte i was boosting 8psi and pussing 325whp. at 6,000 rpm. the turbo is a turbonetics 62-1 . v band exhaust...

  • I'm loving that top mount turbo. How hard was it to install the trunk mount? Where does the air come from to cool the intercooler? It looks like either you haven't made a trunk scoop yet, or i'm missing something. Looks awesome, great job.

  • about 700usd

  • How much was the turbo?

  • How much are you boostin? WHP?

  • o my bad lol.

  • bitchen

  • Im new to the car game but arent intakeds supposed to be in da frnt to suck in air for thr turbo? Nd nice seats.

  • @MrJbarrett9 What lmfao! FAYUL

  • Hey, I own a 1984 5.0, I have mods and im putting a Vortech on with 210cc heads, My best friend just picked up a mr2 and is thinking about doing the swap with the motor you have. It looks clean and sound healthy, I was hoping you could message me tell me how the kit went. Hopefully Ill still be able to beat him hahah

  • Is turbonetics a good company?

  • Thank u

  • Very NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Be careful it doesnt suck it your camera!!! Lol

Next upgrade your intake to eliminate that nasty bend :)

  • omg so sexy

  • whistle while you work, do do do do do do doooooo!

  • you have a trunk mount intercooler... so no cargo space? haha

  • Just a suggestion, if u want ur turbo to last u might want to put a filter on the turbo inlet housing so u dont pull in dirt and crap and ruin the compresser wheel

  • nice car im putting a v6 converstion in mine

  • wow really put the intercooler in the fuckin trunk, how is it supposed to get air...your such a dumb ass

  • keep your stupid fucking comments to yourself. You are clearly an ignorant pile of shit american car owner. What purpose would a front mount serve on a car with the engine in the back? Think about what you said then try to make fun, fuckface

  • I didnt see the a2w hoses though.... He may have part of the trunk cut out... Ususaly you dont have to sacrafise your trunk until you make over 400whp though. at least thats what ive read on mr2oc

  • @HKST51R u can buy them with the kit-_-

  • The majority of high hp mr2 owners do a trunk mount intercooler. This method and water to air intercoolers provide the best cooling for us. Do some research before you run your mouth.

  • @RAF92Warhawk

yea looks like the shortest route of piping, where is it located stock?? btw i was wondering if theres no vents or anything on top of the truck where is the air coming from?

  • @pb4evr The stock IC sits behind the passanger side air vent. The large ones in front of the rear wheel. It's also small, has both the in/out ports on the top, is painted black for some stupid reason, uses very small piping and sits snugly placed inside the hot engine bay.

  • @jeanne17s1 Most trunk mounts on an mr2 have a vent cut out either on the bottom of the trunk or on top. It's a much better spot, if you dont mind losing the tiny trunk, because it doesn't sit in the hot engine bay.

  • very nice set up bro I still got a ways to go with my gen3 swap my gen2 electronics are killing it....she still runs a 13.1 though...lovin the setup bro

  • lol you are such a redneck
