Excellent commercial, but the Mercedes-Benz "Reincarnation" is still better. It portraits the exact feel of the car's soul. The atmosphere around the bug is bit vain, it doesn't caught the exact feeling; feels more like a caricature, but without a drop of sympathy, not to mention the fact not a single owner respect the car for itself.

This reminds me of my own beetle, it was bought by a german family, then exported to Spain in 1970, and had it's second owner. There, it was bought by my father in 1988, and since then it's been his. Now, it's my first car, and i will ever sell it... I this will ever happen with a modern car... They ain't got a soul.

the vw bug was actually produced and sold under the command of a British general almost inctantly after the second world war. the car itself was designed by Ferdinand Porsche. only the idea was hitlers and its not like his spirit is embeded in ever vw.
