Limber Pine seems to be doing fine... they grow at a broader range of elevation and have been exposed to pine beetles for a much longer time than WB Pine.

So is Limber Pine in trouble? I have numerous Limber Pines "Pinus flexis Vanderwolf" in Michigan...They are growing great.

Great job. It is amazing how much depends upon the Whitebark Pine. Glad we have dedicated researchers addressing this and then explaining it so well.
