looks accidental, like the bird dropped the bread on accident, then saw the fish, and went for it instead. But ravens, man those fuckers will steal your Porsche
@discrepancy666 Obviously you don't know dick about Corvids. Crows, Rooks, Ravens, Jackdaws, are all black. The only difference is that the Crow in this video is a hooded crow, which has different plumage to the rest of the family
@awwhellyeah1 i know that now, still thanks for clearing that up.
back then i was only thinking about the birds in my area which are mainly the hooded crow (hence the grey=crow statement) and the carrion crow which is reffered to as a raven in general here.
Here in Europe those are quite common. I think the all-black ones mostly reside down south but in the north and the east they tend to be grey like that. Like here in Scandinavia, for example.

How do they acquire those behaviors ? By imitation or just plain smarts! Or both. Very impressive,
couzlite 11 months ago
@couzlite they adopt by observing.

The grey ones -> crows
The all black ones -> ravens
That's the difference

I've seen crows use tools before, but I have never seen one first acquire food, and then use that food to obtain MORE food.
That is beyond impressive.
