i plan on making this for a ww2 cap costume and i was wondering if after you cut the shield out if it had sharp sides or not and what you did to dull it out i hope this makes sense haha
THAT is awesome! What type of metal did you use, and how much of it? Are the stars just paint to are they attached material? How much did it cost to make overall? Sorry for all the questions but, I want to try to make one for if I ever go to a convention or just for Halloween (I can see my friends at the dorms in awe now!). PLEASE let me know!
@Brickpool128 Thanks mate:p one of your most fun projects!ha the metal was actually a oil drain pan I found at a Parts house. The stars are attached cardstock stars(gfs idea)lol The whole deal costed around $10. for the metal. We had all the paint and stuff..If you do make one send us a pic! ha and if you need andmore help let us no..THANKS :P
Very nice would you ever concider doing a commission piece? I want to go to the opening night showing of The Captain America movie and ConFusion in Deroit as WW2 Capt. I could try to make the shield my self but I doubt it woud look any where as good as yours. By the way What Reenacting out fit are you with?
