If you notice at 6:03, you'll see a couple of crocodiles lying belly up on the lake. There was a scene earlier where Robotnik tried to get out of his ship, only to see the crocs, so he shoots out electricity on the water, killing the crocodiles. 4Kids took that scene out, but overlooked this one.
