A male removes his sexual organs, takes hormones to grow breasts, wears female clothing -- is still a male.
Your argument will be valid when heterosexuals also do not have legally recognised marriages. Right now, that's not the case. Although the ideal marriage equality would be for government to stop recognising ALL marriages and stop defining ALL relationships and let the people decide, as long as they're recognising some but not others, there is a legal inequality.

Well, the only problem that I have with same sex marriage is, it's a choice, not an instinctive attraction between two entities. Also all people have been attracted to the other sex and/or been influenced sexually by it. I hate to say that I feel that it's better this way but it is, you choose peace.

Sorry, you're in no position to define marriage for others, especially when state and "sacred" are separate. You're a circular argument for tradition from tradition. That's not what crossdressing is about. It's not that a person doesn't like their sex, it's that they feel more comfortable dressing or acting a certain way. And as for "unnatural," the same goes for piercings, tattoos, plastic surgery, orthadontistry, dentistry, beneficial surgeries (such as having a tumor removed or have an organ transplant), taking vitamins, antibiotics, and anything else people do that go against how they were born. @Damuna Gladly...and its very simple: whatever you were born as -- male or female, white, black, Asian, etc. -- that's you. An Asian with Asiatic attributes will always be such. If he/she undergoes surgery to change the shape of his/her eyes, takes hormones to grow taller, and dyes his/her hair -- is still Asian. Same with gender. A male removes his sexual organs, takes hormones to grow breasts, wears female clothing -- is still a male.

With that being said, stop refuting illogically knowing my point. I don't discriminate in any fashion and love and respect all people. I don't like seeing a people feel as though they are not equal, no matter what the reason. I hope that there is a way to give people what they ask for, peace.

Sorry, you're in no position to define marriage for others, especially when state and "sacred" are separate. You're a circular argument for tradition from tradition. Tradition changes, and often because it's either antiquated, stupid or both. Even dictionaries are now extending their definition to same-gender couples. No "sacred" need be involved.

@infideluxe Listen, I'm not trying to judge what should be or not, I just feel there's more relavence with a heterosexual marriage then it is homosexual marriage. Ust my opinion. You're right, I'm not in the position to define marriage but, why change a tradition solely because others don't fit the bill. It is a given right so I feel everyone should have it.

@monopolydevil "Relevance" - Interesting word. What you're saying is essentially nothing more than "I'm straight; I'm not gay."
If you're right-handed, I'm sure you can say you feel there's more "relevance" to being right-handed than being left-handed. Used to be that southpaws were actually smacked with rulers in school for writing with the "wrong" hand.
Why change tradition? Because equal rights demands it. It's how women can work and why we don't own black slaves.

@ZJemptv If what you say is meaningful about marriage, then what and why would people get married if there isn't a purposeful reason to? I feel that marriage has an infinite purpose to extend the family and share the values of life to the next generation. Also expressing the love between the two whom do so. Like I said, I would love for homosexuals to marry if they choose to but, the value of marriage wouldn't be the same, so how do you generalize the two types of marriages?

Reproduction isn't the only reason to get married. People reproduce without marrying; people marry without reproducing.

@ZJemptv no, I think just a probation period should be enforced for straight couples...if you don't have a baby within 12 months then your marriage is annulled :D
