I really appreciate. We Chinese do need the understanding of the west. None of the government in the world's able to satisfy each individual. At present, the priority of every Chinese is to work hard to develop economic to satisfy the majority rather than go onto the street and protest, because we are not well off at the moment. Our government understands this very clearly, and has been creating a stable environment for economic development.
This is like building a house. Before you finished the framework of a house, you can not start the decoration. According to the world history, every country has gone through this process, for instance the UK and USA.
We need a peaceful environment and understanding atmosphere.

Good to hear. I think that India's economy is much more restricted as of now. Surely, it is growing, but at a much slower pace compared to China. China is already giving loans to help India push forward, so as for who is on top, and will stay on top, I would say China.

" and now ..you know..things are sorta different..and my parents are saying like..america's economy is in the decline..china's is on the rise..think twice before you go...AND I AM SAD!!!!
uhh.i am a medical student in shanghai, china. i plan to get a master degree in america, most hopefully in Boston medical school...my uncle became US citizenship 20 years ago..and ..
