well i got it for 999$ at my local music store, not alot of people really dont like the amp but i think its the best tube amp marshall has put out in a while.
if u go to guitar center it should be 999$ for the combo
trust me, really. i used to think u could get away with a squire if u had a bad ass marshall. but it just wont sound anything near the same cos the electric in them die after a year.
It depends on how u play ur guitar, The way this amp works is totally different. When i got this amp and i started to play throught it, i had to play much different on how i incorporate my playing style, and ill admit you wont sound as good when u play throught the amp the first time even through a Gibson. It alson depends on how you have ur guitar setup up
no hang mate, if i opened up your guitar and took a shit and piss on your pots then do you think your playing style (or skill is what u really mean) will matter?
@OZZYTS808 i dont know how accurate that is... i dont want an amp telling me how to play or to change my style of playing... i think you mean something else
@huyiy Have you ever played through a tube amp? What I am trying to say is when playing through solid state amps they don't behave the same way as tube amps. It will help your playing and help you develop your own style.
Which amp should I have to get the same sound as AC/DC ?

Man that's sounds so sweet. I can't get my 2266c to sound like that, Maybe i need valve replacements, the standard eq is very unresponsive.
