Alexis played in a French League and averaged some bullsh*t like 5 minutes,2 points and 1 rebound,no you read it right the first time.Why not go with a proven College player in DeAndre Jordan,who is more athletic(which Larry Brown confessed he loves),stronger(Alexis is a stick,and will get treated as such),and has proven more than a French guy who averaged 5 minutes in a French League arrrrrgggghh.Seriously Alexis will be a full time D-Leaguer in about oh i don't know by December.

Hmmm yeah Augustin is talented,but doubling up at a position that wasn't really a weakness was probably a bad move,who knows,we'll have to wait and see how that turns out.Obviously this is Felton's last chance at proving himself that he can be the point guard that we all thought he could be and he could be a top 5 pg in the league,well i believe he can.I'm more disappointed,in fact outraged that MJ and Brown,Higgins decided to go with Alexis Ajinca? at #20.WTF is that.

I will give the Bobcats a C- on their draft picks.Here's why,first of all i understand why they went for D.J there was a trade offer made to Toronto just before the draft that would have sent Gerald Wallace to Toronto for Ford.Ok so MJ and Brown were thinking Felton just wasn't getting it done,and i understand that after a disappointing 07-08 season(oh damn his fg% was just something ugly like 35%),but that didn't work out so they got their point guard in the draft with D.J.

Look,none of us are hall of fame coaches or players we got what we needed in the draft it might not have been the sexy pick most people we hoping for but these picks can contribute in somw ways.Lets what to pass judgement on this draft until we see what they do,and from what i've seen and read LB got these boys workng in vegas.

bobcats bobcats bobcats.... wat were they thinking. they could have got a good big man, there were plenty of available players in the draft at the time.

and with the 20th pick they pick a european dude.

wat the hell? when was the last time a high pick european worked. think about andrea bargiani and shit. they may be good at euroleague, but nba is another level.

weaver is sick but, he plays with some intensity and brains.

Also if you watch video on Alexis Ajinca's videos on youtube he has WAY more upside than Brook Lopez and he can actually run and keep up with our starters.

I cosign 100% about DJ/Felton combo but I don't see them having conflict both are down to earth kids.

Also Brook Lopez = Chris Mihm Version 2 dude is a straight up scrub.

Charlotte needs a GM who knows talent and team needs and how to work below the salary cap and most important, have guts enough to disagree with Jordan. I give Larry Brown two years before he splits. I have to disagree with you about Brook Lopez, he needs to gain some quickness and better moves or (Superman) Howard will destroy confidence the first time the Nets and Magic meet.

I believe that the Bobcats thought they could get Hibbert at #20 pick so that's why they passed on Lopez. By picking DJ, I think the Bobcats are going to shop Felton around for another playmaker and they will probably throw in May or Morrison. They picked Weaver, who may be the sleeper in the draft, because they want to trade Wallace because he's probably one concussion from a early retirement' though it's no fault of his own thanks to Vincent. My draft grade is a weak C.

haha man ur more harsh than me! but i can see where ur goin with that. but do u think hibbert would of fit with a bunch of athletic players on the bobcats? he's better off in indiana right now. and i can see may and morrison bein traded off. i like weaver, i watched him alot in college, ahhh those lovely midnight games on FSN in NY, lol. wallace was in bad shape b4 sam vincent, don't u think? wallace will be retiring soon cuz he's so injury prone. if anythin, send felton to LAC for some1.

Sorry but I have to disagree on this one. DJ was a great pick for us since we needed a second Point Guard. I really didn't want Brook Lopez anyway, he could barely run, he got shot over by DJ. I believe that DJ could be the next CP3

with mohammed only signin a 1 yr deal plus he's aging, makes it hard on u guys...okafor and wallace struggle with injuries, may is comin back off a knee injury and prob won't ever play the same again, morrison is comin back off a season ending injury, u guys need help down low, i hear charlotte is shoppin felton around but u guys could of gotten a big first and then got chalmers at 20 to backup felton...be careful and hope felton and augustin's egos don't clash as far as minutes go.

I definately agree with the fact that the Bobcats needed to address the 5 spot. Okafor and Gerald wallace are being beat up cuz they are forced to guard bigger stronger players in the paint. I think DJ is a mature enough player that their won't be a struggle for minutes but I think getting Brook Lopez would of been a great fit for the Bobcats.
