Waluigi is NOT unlockable by standard play, but he might be in a bedug mode or something. Don't waste hours of your life looking for him using standard methods. The purple prizes poster was a nintendo power april fools joke. the waluigi sprite in the poster was from mario tennis on the n64 and the portrait of him has the wrong background; it is supposed to be a dull brown colour. If he was in the game, then there would be a portrait of him, and his hat would be in multiplayer.
