Masha'Allah, this is really awesome advice! JazakAllahukhair. Unfortunately, many times we forget that this is actually one of the greatest things necessary for giving da'wah, because sometimes all we need to do is win a person's heart waAllahu Aaalam. At the same time, it's very important to remind ourselves that this is how the Prophet (SAW) was able to spread Islam; he was greatly loved by his people for having such qualities as caring.
I know some people who really love and take care of others and do not are religious or practice any religion. They are always smiling and have positive attitude but unfortunately these things are not enough to enter paradise.
Hope you and the family are well of. I saw your Videos about the life of Ahmed ibn Hanbal (rahimullah) and wanted to ask you if and when you are going to make such a beautiful Video about the other great Imams like Abu Hanifa (rahimullah), Imam Shafi (rahimullah) and the others?
May Allah (swt) reward you and your family for all your effort and let us meet inshaAllah in Jhenna.
Oh so good, jazakhAllah kheir for sharing that and in sha Allah you won't mind when I put that on my blog? I wish more people in my city could speak Englisch, they could need that as they are also running around frowning, not even saying salam, making Takfir and insulting "Wahhabi/Salafi" and not helping new Muslim(a)s (like me) - they could surely benefit from that video. May Allah reward you greatly!
Very nice tips/suggestions MashaAllah. I would like to suggest a topic for your future programs.
It often happens that when someone starts practicing Islam or telling others about Sunnah, Tawheed, he is ridiculed by his family, relatives and friends and labelled as 'fanatic'.
Also, many people with little ilm openly speaking against Hijab, following Sunnah, having a beard, prohibition of music etc etc. It is highly irritating especially when done by elders.
i heard u were in Toronto in 22 of December for a lecture sorry i couldn't come nobody to drive me and i don't know Toronto well.
brother i have a question i wanna be student of knowledge but how can i support my family when i grow up. like how much does scholars get paid. what scares me is poverty.
why is hate or dislike against ppl easier than love, is love somethn u have to work for,? What kind of work do I have to do to be loved ? Maybe the work I have to do is to love the other and care for them , if they feel "hey he is caring for me, I really like his readiness to help" then it could be that they will be more positive to U,so this is what I understood, is there not a hadith that says I prefer helping to find a solution for my brother than praying in the night, ?
Salam Alaykum, this was a very useful video, would you consider talking on a subject on being a master of communication as was Prophet Muhammad ( (peace be upon him), i.e. how to be a great leader.
@PayChkSlaveRebellion Wa alaykum asalam. Wa jazak! Yes I would consider, but perhaps from a slightly different angle. I actually studied communications; but subhanAllah there is not any area or technique in that field except that you find the Prophet salalahu alayhi wa salam utilized it. Thanks for watching!
I believe this love and care for everyone is very crucial for our brothers and sisters especially in the MSA and any other religious organization. From my experience, active members in MSA's usually give a bad face to Muslims who are not "practicing" or "apparently religious". Even worse, for sisters who are not hijabi's. This treatment will make these brothers and sisters go even farther from Islam and Muslim organizations because they feel they want to revenge for their dignity and self esteem
@dodosososo Allahu Akbar. This problem has two sides, the more common one is the one that you described. The less common is that even when your MSA is extremely open and your members unbelievably friendly people still say that the MSA is exclusive. The reality is that most of our shortcomings in Dawah are related to bad manners and poor treatment of individuals. JZK
[041:034] And good and evil are not alike. Repel evil with that which is best. And lo, he, between whom and thyself was enmity, will become as though he were a warm friend.
@FATAL12SKILLZ Good point. Your blood can boil out of love of Islam, it's prophet and his companions. But the next day would you rather that the Shia individual you spoke to be guided to the truth, him and his entire family, and have propper aqeedah and even guide either shia's to the truth or would you rather he burns in the fire? So your blood can boil but you would still prefer guidance for the individual and there is no contradiction insha'Allah. JZK.
@amongstthefew I agree with you. It kind of hurts though yknow. You can answer all there lies but when you hear lies against the likes of abu bakr (RA) Umar (RA) Ali (RA) the ahlel bayt and the sahaba you just feel like "how low can this person go" If we cant control ourselves would you recommend just distancing ourselves from those Shia in an honorable way?
@FATAL12SKILLZ I guess it's Ibn Kathir (rahimahullaah) who said : Allaah loves Abu Bakr n Umar (radiallahu 'anhu ajmain) so much that he brought forth a sect, the Shias, to curse them... so that these sahabas get all of the good deeds of the Shia on the Day of Judgement. Subhan Allaah! There's always sth positive :)
@amongstthefew i'm wondering if i could use these videos, translate them into my language (Albanian) and post them into my youtube account so that people from my nation, who don't understand English, could benefit?
@drilonjaha JZK. Nuk ka problem ! Feel free to take anything I have online and translate it if you feel it's beneficial. None of my material is copyrighted.
assalaam alikum, wonderful advice as usual.. I know that you want to keep the lecture short, but i am sure that you have so much to say.. Maybe have another longer lecture series to elaborate on the things that you are forced to leave out by due to time. One thing that i have problem with is how to love and give dawah to muslims, without them hating you and tempers flaring.. jazak Allah Khair...
@nurthaqif JZK for listening and for your kind words. A secret between you and me....I love them too! You know why? Because we don't make up our own talks, all words of wisdom eventually go back to Allah and/or His prophet salalahu alayhi wa salam! Thanks for watching ATF Channel and until next time...
